I thought this was one of Lucy's best storylines. The show didn't always know what to do with Lucy, especially as the show went on, but Charlene was very good in this story and its aftermath. I liked the chemistry between Lucy and Mickey, and how he helped her to come out of her shell while dealing with the trauma of rape. It was a very sweet, star-crossed lovers-type of story with a tragic ending.
Whatever happened to Roger? Can't believe those Ewing's let him live. Lucy has 6 degrees of cra-cra on BOTH sides of her family tree. Lilimae ran over Chip in front of a police station, Valene went after Jill Bennett with scissors for talking to Bobby and Betsy, Miss Ellie pulled a shotgun on a reporter, and don't get me started on uncles J.R./Ray/Bobby. That could have been an EPIC Dallas murder mystery storyline with too many suspects to count. LOL!
@@MsLuvmusic81 Yeah, Sue Ellen was a pathetic character, for pretty much most of the series. Even Linda Grey didn't like how the character was portrayed.
Worse, this actually came true (not a modelling job, but, a crazy psycho couple kidnapped and murdered a few girls here in Ontario (one of them being the wife's little sister). They videotaped their victims. One of them in particular, they would tell her to smile while they were videotaping what they were doing to her & told her to "act like she was in Hollywood." Sort of like how Roger keeps telling Lucy in this episode to smile while he was making creepy photos of her in this shoot.
I think he'd also struggled briefly against a guy once and taken a couple of hits before gaining the upper hand...If I remember correctly, he was the son of someone who had bought a piece of land next to Southfork or some story line like that....
@@nihatbekiroglu8004 : You are talking about Carter McKay’s son , Tommy McKay. Bobby beat him up because he attacked April. Tommy got in a couple of punches on Bobby, but ultimately he was no match for Bobby.
Allen Gilbert Bobby should have punched the wind out of Roger like he did to JR for insulting Pam's biological history and calling her mother a whore in front of the family. And JR is bigger than Roger.
Did not at all care much for how this storyline was written.....Lucy sent Roger mixed messages...she hooks-up with Roger the 1st time then communicates to him that she is not into him like that......Ok....Great!!!...only to kiss him to make Mitch jealous n then turns around n hooks up with again.....AFTER, the huge red flag of him showing her the wall of obsessed pics he has of her......DUMB!!!
@@andrebeck2740 I loved the time Ray did the number on J.R. I remember the effectiveness of the scene because you see the shadow of Ray's cowboy hat when he opens the door and finds J.R. in bed with Garnett. Of course, I also liked the scuffle between Ray and J.R. which caused the season-ending inferno at Southfork.
Bobby says he told Gary lucy's father she was found and alright... and he told JR, Who would have thought JR would care about anyone in his family. He always comes across as all bussiness and not careing about his family.. oh yea he cares about his son and his father who he wanted to impress and had respect for. but the rest of the family he never seemed to care about.
I still don't know what part of dallas the ewings lived in cuz there were no black folks.. we lived in dallas during the time of the show ... just saying Lillie white
the ewings lived in braddock county , texas . braddock county as far as i know doesn't exist in real life . they were supposed to be living in the dallas countryside outside of the dallas city centre . southfork ranch exists for real and is located in Parker , Texas . so i would say braddock county corresponded to Parker . you can check the website southforkranch for further info . hope my answer has helped .
I don’t believe black folks hang out in the country where there are ranches and farms. Not a very friendly area for most black folks sadly. Too many racists live in those kind of areas.
Bobby Hero ❤️ but what would have happened if They ever would have Found out About Lucy and Ray before they found he was her uncle what would that have done to the Ewing s ps I think Pam Had her Suspicion s About that Relationship And So did Sue Ellen but They never said Anything either of them because of Their love And Respect for Jock And Miss Ellie. And Also that each one of Them had At one time Their own Relationship with Ray Also and They may not have wanted to be Accused of Jealous or Envy or have Hurt Donna Ray future wife.Dallas found a way to Get Around the censors If they still had them And Get Away with A lot.
Good scene...but after throwing old creep face Roger against the wall..bobby&Pam turned their back on him..giving ole roger a chance to get a weapon...
