Hey guys, as I said in the video, I lost a lot of videos because of a malfunction with my SD card. The videos you see are the footage that I was able to recover. Hope you like this vlog. If you know of any apartments that are in my price range in the Planto, Frisco, Midtown Addison, suburb area please let me know. I hear that. I’m uploading another one in a couple hours. I toured about 7 more last week and found the one I like. Don’t forget to subscribe and turn the notifications on because I’m literally just needing to put the thumbnail together. I love the one I found but it won’t be there by the time you move and I didn’t include it in the Vlog since I chose it.

I've lived in Dallas a long time. Had to get a new apartment in June of 2022. You used to be able to get a decent place for 1000-1200 a month but not anymore. Anything less than 1200 and you'll regret moving there before long. They also sucker people in with lower rent for a one year lease then raise the rent on every renewal. Every place is doing it.

This is exactly true, lucky for me I was not playing about going over that 8% or 10% up charge is you’re renewing so I re-signed for 13mo and which added a little less than $100 to my rent. I’m deff going to be apartment/condo hunting soon though because I’m moving out in July.

I’m looking for places there BUT I ended up seeing playing in the middle of downtown for the same prices, so I was likeeee “why not live where everyone else is going” I’m still not sure where I pick sus. I’m stuck, I’m leaving Virginia so I want to be somewhere safe, and not be all lonely and shit

@@Everythingteash sameeee my biggest worry that I see all the time is when I live like uptown and downtown check reviews online because it’s known for a lot of car break ins. I gotta think fast cause august is approaching fast for me

@@desschante August, I was trying to be out of Virginia by June and I’m not ready yet. Haven’t even found a job yet but yes girl, they will take the tires right off your car on the side of the road. Everra (the apartment) in the video that I loved was downtown and he told me that two people had their cars broken into because it’s a nice part of town. I also have a nice car do I’m getting covered garage parking anywhere I go and I don’t think I’ll be parking on the streets at all. I’ll find a parking garage before I do that 😅 we can be friends, add me on the gram and let me know it’s you and we can start this friendship now 😂😂

Sooooo, I can’t just say where I am. However I’m in north Dallas. Only 20-25mins from downtown depending on what you want, traffic, etc…. No matter where you pick. You’ll have things around. I only go down town if I’m going out on the weekend but most things I go to are around North Dallas 😊 you can continue to ask questions here but if you want to know something super specific, message me on Instagram and I can’t respond there as well. I know asking questions here help others 😊

Can I get some honest opinions: Is it worth it right now moving from South Florida to Houston or Dallas Texas? Is it hard finding good paying jobs and affordable luxury housing? It seems like all the apartment tours I’ve seen are pretty much paying the prices we are paying here.

I’m going to let you know it’s hard as hell to find a good paying job if you’re not in the fields that I mentioned in one of my last two videos, if it’s not Tech or medical, you’ll have more than one jobs, I’m still struggling but I decided to move to Tech and has been interviewing. I just need to land one and I’ll be free and not worry. I do believe this is the time to look for affordable apartments but let’s be honest, I don’t know many people that are moving out at the moment, summer is usually when people move (which is high) but people get lucky in the winter. What kind of job do you do so I can tell you what to expect being here?

Move around. No one else seems to have a problem. You do know people are also looking for two bedrooms, etc…? Pretty sure the first one was $900 something, move a around. These aren’t the same prices regardless. This was 2021 🤷🏾‍♀️ point is for you to call the company and ask if you like the buildings.
