As a Vols fan I watched this kid a lot this Season and the bigger the game the better he was. Dalton is for real, he creates shots and if they feed him he will thrive. Gonna make most if not all teams that passed on him regret it and I’m calling it now 2024-25 ROY!! GBO🍊🍊

laker fan since 1980 or so here....and i have not been this excited for a laker pick in long long time...like you said he will remember, and i love his story...worked to get where he got, not that others didnt, but his story is rare, and 6'6 good wingspan AND 39" vert..off ball movement, off the catch, catch and shoot, can attack basket. and being coached by JJ who at press conference turned me around to him as our new coach(F duke). I am stoked

One of the smartest picks the Lakers' front office has ever made!!! THIS KID CAN BALL AND SHOOT!!! I'm very excited and look forward to seeing him in a Lakers uniform!! Dalton was underrated during his entire basketball career until his senior year at Tennessee and was undervalued in this draft! Good for him!!!

I could honestly see a few years down the road if DK continues his current trajectory, the lakers getting a title with the new era of stars. But watch out the next few, Boston made a smart move too. They may be here for a few

Austin has a better handle and better defensive player and finisher as of now. Until Dalton ACTUALLY plays in the NBA among adults and his game translates in the pros, he's just potential right now. I love him but he might be traded for a Trae or Murray.

I love Dalton especially with JJ as his coach, but Luka was dominating Euro league at 17 which is substantially higher level basketball than NCAA. Dalton could be a more athletic JJ type of player which is why this pick is perfect for LA. He can go be a scorer immediately and is athletic enough to improve his defense to not be picked on by year 2 or 3.

@@drubizzy He's going to get inside as well as outside. More like Luka. JJ was a spot shooter. One dimensional thats why her got jerked around the league.

@@ericwilliams626 You've got to stop. Luka is the 2nd or third best player in the world and has been since he was 18 or 19. Dalton is not Luka. Not even remotely anywhere close to Luka.

@@drubizzy Get over yourself. His style of play and his scoring potential. You can all you want about a player, but there is always another guy, and Dalton doesn't have a fat ass either. Very possible.
