It’s so refreshing to see brown, warm, rich colors again. This color looks close to my natural color and I’ve been getting tons of compliments lately as the trends shift from blonde to more natural brown shades. Thank you for the video!
I love watching your videos. You explain things so well. I need my hair done by you. It is hard to find a hair dresser with the experience and knowledge and care that you have and provide your clients.
You knowledge is INCREDIBLE! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, love and kindness! I'm so grateful that you are willing to admit when mistakes are made but also that you truly are so talented! Thanks for taking the time!
you’re not lying one of the best hairstylist i’ve ever seen with formulations, its fantastic how u use all those shades together to make them do different things ex:6 for add warm,5 for shine and 4 for neutralize all the same time, just wow all looks super planned and went amanzing
Thank you so much, Diego! i love that people are seeing what goes into a formula and not just one solid colour is needed! multi-coloured unique formulas will always be the best way to go in my opinion!
Love love love andLOVE your chanel BUT, and i know your clients probably don't want to be seen full face on the web but it would be so cool to see the difference in HOW they really look totally and not just the hair. Just a thought and i really do understand why some would not want to be shown.
I'm so gutted I can't have services like this. Even 6 vol lifts my natural level 6 hair to orange. The semi / demi colour or toner is gone within 2 weeks and the orange is all that is left.
I wish we could see more brunette and red color jobs on your channel, even black hair. There's so much blonde color correction but it's nice to see something different for a change.
I am a colour correction and blonde specialist so that’s mainly what I get to do when a new client comes to see me. But I do try to give some variety here and there when I can.
I would love a video on helping protein overload! I tried K-18 and it has done some terrible things to my hair. It used to be healthy and now is incredibly frail.
Hi, I’ve really helped my hair getting it back to health.. I didn’t realise what I’d done till it started to be knotty/ dull and breaking 1- had a couple inches cut off I had no choice, 2- researched protein free hair products important- use a clarifying shampoo to strip proteins out of your hair I use ouai detox and then briogerio superfood avocado and kiwi mask, limited my hair washing to 5-7 days and always used a leave in conditioner/oil. Last used k18 or triple bond complex mid December, my hair is now back to full health/ not snapping/ shiny
@@amyblakemore43 Thank you Amy!! I'm definitely trying to avoid any protein. I should have known better because my hair is a bit sensitive to it. I've already cut it a few times now, but the front is the most delicate hair on your head and that's what's suffering the most. I'm glad to hear it didn't take too long for your hair to bounce back!
@@natmya243 Do some research before spreading false myths. 1: olaplex contains no proteins or peptides. It contains a molecule called bis aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate ( it is a patented malic acid derivative) which, "supposedly", is capable of reforming (or, at least, maintaning the bonds created by olaplex step 1 and 2. Anyway, it is incredibly difficult to find information about these bond enforcers that does not come from the actual manufacturer) disulphide bonds in the hair. 2: protein overload does NOT exist. Do some proper research on hair´s chemical/physical structure. 3. K18 contains a patented peptide that apparently mimics the sequence of aminoacids of keratin protein molecules
@@keanux Excuse me but I did not say anything about the products containing protein. I said I had seen a lot of comments from people saying they had major issues when using them and other bonding products, which is true I have. Not sure where you are going with the false myths accusation and telling me to do some research because I have shared comments I have seen? Calm down.
Honestly, why do stylists not tell us this!!? No offense whatsoever to you or even others but I was a platinum blonde for years and using all the professional products and my hair was just so brittle. My stylist never ever ever said “focus on moisture and stop using bond builders each week”
This video is really instructional. Thank you for posting this i have been looking for a video for while now that would help me fix my hair. The results you got are amazing.❤
Beautiful! How could you get these colors if you were basically at a 4. Somehow in trying to fix bad color I'm at a 4 but want to be what I'm used to which is a warm 6. It could be a bit more chocolate/darker than what you did. I LOVE the dimension. My hair does well w/ Wella color. Thank you
Actually over proteinization (is that how you write it?!) of the hair does not exist. I think Abbey Young is a name of a youtuber who made many videos on this. And with ‘moisture’ we usually refer to conditioning agents, like silicones. Actual moisture, h20 swells the hair cuticle which is damaging. What we often see with hair becoming brittle of ‘too much protein’ is not so much the protein itself, but the lack of attention to conditioning agents such as silicones which keep the hair soft and reduce friction. Thought to share my thoughts because it is such an interesting topic and so many perspectives on this. Love the hair color and your videos!!!
I saw a video of her mention it too and I love her videos but I experienced too much protein in my hair. I was still conditioning the same way I used to but I was using a keratin conditioning mask. I don’t understand enough of hair science but I have experienced when it is necessary to stop putting protein products in your hair for low-porosity hair types because nothing I did helped until I got rid of my protein shampoos and conditioners (I was only using them once in a while too, not every wash).
Hi there Love the video and Explantation! Would this Formula work on coloured auburn/red hair (6-77/7-57) kinda washed out really light now🥴 My hair tone is between a 6 & 7, a bit ashy Thanks so much! I also used your auburn hair formula tutorial a while ago for the winter😍 It was amazing!!❤
That's awesome! Thank you for sharing! You might find this formula just provides a refresher of some depth and warmth to your hair, bringing in that shine
Amazing transformation, please could you advise how I could do this to my own hair at home , I am trained as a hairdresser and can buy professional products from the wholesaler, I would struggle to perform the level of sectioning you achieve by myself though, I could probably create the halo section you talk about but the rest may be challenging to do myself. I have a growing out balayage, and would like to go to this stunning brunette you have shown, you are very talented. ( I’m in the uk also, so hopefully can get same brand products) 😊
What a great explanation on the use of Olaplex and bond builders!! Had I not seen this, I would have been making the same mistake as your client...The results are GORGEOUS!!! My hair is an ultra short pixie, but I love the color results that you achieved. I am currently at a level 9 and would like to go to a level 6 or 5. My natural base is a level. 3-4. Would you recommend going straight to the (second) root-shadow dark color formula for a client with short hair? I live overseas and have access to Schwarzkopf products, even though I am not a professional stylist. Thank you so much!!!
Wonderful. Why do you mix toner with colour? I ask again for pre pigmentation, didn't you wanna go for a 5 base?i would have used expert mousse 5 88 first, for the underlying pigment...., do you never do stuff like that?
How much regrowth do you recommend before going darker? I am a natural 5, now 10-11 paaaale yellow/whiteish). But due to a mishap a couple of weeks ago I want to go back to a warm brown. Last time I did, the stylist put level 5 in and it got darker than my own hair. It looked harsh, unfortunately. So I'm thinking maybe level 6, or could that be too light? I want it warm, golden. My natural hair has a lot of gold in it, even though it's level 5.
Always just amazing and highly-informative content! Thank you for providing us with such valuable insight on formulating with different colours, so they can do different things to the hair ❤
Great video I will be using this formula on my hair. It is a level 10 blonde and I just wanna go back to my golden brown natural level seven hair little nervous to do this. Can I bump up each formula one level just so I’m not freaked out dark hair?
Beautiful result! You are sensational! I would love this colour, would this formulation work over level 6 brunette? Or could you recommend me a formulation for this please?
Love what you said about ashy colors. I am a natural level 5, but I'm not level 10-11 somewhere. It's very white, but a hint of pale yellow. I had ashy light brown in it a couple of years ago and it made me look grey all over. I'm a natural warm brown with hazel eyes, so I wasn't impressed by my choice...
You’re in Vancouver! Wow I didn’t even know you were in Canada until today. Thank you for the videos, I’ve started doing hair again after another career and your videos really help to learn new techniques.
Personally I want no red in my hair. In my blonde or brown. I don’t want to see an ounce of warmth. There’s literally no stylists that can accomplish what I want.
That's because all browns are made up of red pigments just in varying degrees, any brown dye is going to have reds and oranges in it. For the blonde it works the same way in reverse if you are naturally a level 6 for example that has a lot of orange so has to be lifted past the red orange stages to get to blonde.
Hey! Can I ask if I'm able to dye my hair pastel pink (would it show?) if it already have permanent colour on my hair but it was done in the salon & is at level 9 hair?? Please please & thanks 🙏🏻🙏🏻
