Boy, that is strike 2 against Moshe Dayan! Not to judge..for who are we but, historians can judge. Moshe Dayan's hesitation in 1967 & 73 can be compared to King Saul's hesitation to fulfill and complete God's command. Had Saul completed the job, just imagine how different Jewish history would have been minus the Amalekite hatred. The opportunities we had to do as we felt such as taking full sovereignty on the Temple Mount and flattening Chevron - these steps were akin to finishing the job, Moshe Dayan was of a different generation and despite his fearsomeness, had fear in the depth of his heart. The Rebbe knew! Oh the Rebbe knew!
Ari G yes damascus is in ruins , russia and the usa now are joinging forces as well does that mean israel will conqure ? . But what was intresting the ribbi said russians are not to be worried about ? , how powerful that line was ?!!
Moshe Dayan left Al Aqsa up - it should have been demolished - and he didn't go all the way to Damascus. Jews, the world and even the Syrian people are suffering from that decision to this day.
