Damascus Steel "Dolphin pods". Defend the Ocean.

Protect the ocean. The original workpiece is made on an electrical discharge machine. The base is u10a steel, dolphin steel 5xnm.
Tea: dragon pearl
www.amazon.com/shop/shurap
On my patreon page, I began to explain the processes and secrets of my work. Topics already covered:
1. Why do I add pepper to container Damascus steel.
2. What do I sprinkle? Flux and its composition.
3. How do I remove the container from the workpiece (container Damascus steel).
4. Why am I drilling a hole in a container.
5. Why do I sweep away the dross from the anvil with my hand.
6. Why do I first forge some blanks on a tree.
7. In what and why do I soak the blank before forging.
8. In which granules do I place the workpiece after forging.
9. What kind of white powder do I pour into the container.

Me too. If someone would like to explain why the dolphin shape remained unchanged I'd be fascinated to learn.
@alanbrookhart3581

I think it has to do with the fact that the image was off center of the billet so while being twisted the image will be outside of the central axis point. Giving a less distorted image.

It is surmised that the Arthurian legend of Merlin was actually referencing a blacksmith. One who magically pulled a sword from stone (iron ore). So to it is with shurap
@aurelienyonrac
@aurelienyonrac 2 года назад
No it was bronze casting. The mold had 4 parts. the handle part of the mold could be exposed but the blade part could still be in the "the stone" cast. So it gives the impression that it is in the stone. The black smith release the pressure holding the 2 botom half and decide who is king. I say that i say nothing
