As someone who has loved this lady since I was a little boy; thank F, this Lady IS still here x.

Fun personality. I would like to see her in a movie, even a cameo. Great talent! I enjoy seeing her on the talk shows.

Once when I was a London cab driver I often took Alma Cogan to various places. Once she said to me lets go to the Prince of Wales theatre and pick Shirley up and we will go on to Grosvener House Hotel. I was allowed to go up to her dressing room and she was just off stage in one of her silver gowns and told me to tell Alma she wont be long, Then away we went. They were good friends for many years.

One criticism about this great album: Dame Shirley's voice sounds muffled and soft in the final mix of the album whereas here they sound as vibrant as ever.

Why Paloma Faith ft Dame need videoclip!

Enjoyed this. I think Paloma messed up the Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend song. Just my opinion.

She didnt expand her range lol, it's not like she didnt have a head voice before lol

Dame Shirley sounds and looks fantastic but the gentleman who narrates, while sounding nice ... comes off as quite condescending.

Here we go again the woman who make my ears shouting because of her voice.

Je suis déçu par ce dernier CD. La voix a pris de l'âge, ce qui est normal, mais le studio souligne encore davantage les faiblesses, les défauts et le répertoire ne le convient plus trop. Dommage.
