My boyfriend used to love this song, i remember he would listen to this first thing in the morning and everytime he was with me, i also love it. He had a heart attack when he was at work, and died after 3 weeks of coma. He was my first love and i couldn't imagine my life without him, everything was perfect, we had 4 years together. Now this song always reminds me of him, i feel like he is with me everytime i play it, this song keeps him alive for me, in a way.

I remember one day at work using a computer a friend of mine, Mdu used to use often, though of a playlist whilst working, I streamed RU-vid with headphones on , the song that popped first was “Speak Life” I wanted to know more, I was curious if the message and most interestingly from a “Marley” and it surely spoke life. As a Jamaican, I'll speak for myself. many revere Ethiopia because of biblical connections also, we pride ourselves as a warrior type people (irrespective of race or class) and as we've witness through our history books, Ethiopia represents an African people who stood up to European colonization. We love the independence of Ethiopia and what she represents historically. The spiritual connection runs deep in us, how that happened, I don't know but who can explain how the unseen world of spirit works. Peace
