As a Thunder fan, looking back at this it kinda left us off better. This shot made us blow up the team, but, now we have one of the brightest futures in the league. So, thanks Dame.

Watching George on this play is fascinating. You can tell he's keeping the clock in his head as he nervously keeps looking around for a screen to come. Then he realizes that no screen is going to ever come, and he frantically leaps to block the shot before Lillard even starts going up. Of course it's too late.

This on the other hand was a step back 37 foot jumpshot over one the best defenders in the NBA. The degree of difficultly of this shot is just insane. And remember, this wasn't some shot Dame was forced into taking out of desperation, this was a shot he seeked out and wanted to take. This was a shot he practiced. Add Dame's reaction and the heated battle between Westbrook and Dame all series and you've got yourself the greatest game winning shot ever.
This is not even Dame's greatest game-winner. His buzzer-beater, game 7, down-by-2 3pter against Houston in 2014 is absurd. A more routine shot for sure, but the circumstances of this one (tie game, they're up 3-1 in the series) put it below 2014 for me.
That shot was straight up mean! No words! He was confident on the spot especially that far from the three point line. It’s like he told himself that morning, I’m going to make the shot. One of the greatest capture moments in trail blazer history.

I think the craziest part of this is that PG said that this was a bad shot after the game. but had enough respect for it to still contest and his reaction to Dame pulling up was pretty good. I'm sure he didn't think he'd make it but still gave the effort to contest the shot anyways.
