To Nick’s point, I remember when people in Phoenix were pressuring Sarver to trade Nash because the championship window had closed and we wanted Nash to get a ring but Sarver wanted Nash to request a trade while Nash wanted Sarver to trade him because he wasn’t going to ask out. im confused by bru's argument, I feel like nick makes a pretty simple point: Dame cannot say he wants to win a chip and then subsequently say he wants to stay in portland. Wanting to win a chip in portland and wanting to win a chip by any means necessary are two different mindsets. Lebron and Kd are examples of later with miami and GS respectively. Giannis is an example of the former with the bucks. The difference is, the bucks made moves to win (jrue holiday) and the blazers haven't. also.... dame isnt giannis lmao.

@@malikrevis6896 By trading Westbrook we got back D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley and forward Jarred Vanderbilt. Not only was Westbrook hurting us with hero-ball and sloppy passes. He was hurting our salary cap, just to be a 6-man. So trading Westbrook was a great move that turned our season arround. Erase Denver from the eqaution, we probably would have won the championship over Miami for the 2nd time.
