Those orcs look glorious! I'm currently in the process of painting some up and there is something wonderful about painting a completely rag-tag selection colours - they're perfect palette cleansers
Love those metal orc sculps they have a lot of character about them. Great paint job achieved on the orcs along with the rag-tag look you have created with your paint scheme also nice to see the hobbit's getting some love at last. Great vlog Damian keep up the great work, stay safe looking forward to the next vlog.
I've been watching these vlogs since they were on GBHL but never thought to comment until you asked... 😂 So here is a comment. I do want to say that out of all the RU-vid hobby channels I look forward to these vlogs the most... so thanks. 😊
Man, these Orcs are lovely! I had that idea for quite some time now. Painting up a selection of orcs really opens up a lot of different army concepts. I really have to get back to paint some more of mine!
I had forgotten how good those old metal Orcs were in comparison to the plastic versions. Which, although are good, you can’t beat the solid old metal bad boys. Another great video Dude. 👍🏻🤘🏻
Great looking orcs! You're putting me to shame with the total painted mini's for Jan but keep it up and you will hit your annual goal in no time! Another great vlog to watch along to whilst painting so thank you!
Great update, thanks for sharing... had a thought for you - in my opinion, you've really nailed those Fellowship Elven cloaks with your green, gray, blue mix. I remember seeing on one of your old videos where you talked a bit about you mix the paints for the cloaks - could you perhaps do a short 5 min tutorial in a new video at some point ? Since everyone paints members of the Fellowship, I think having a helpful tutorial on how to paint the cloaks as well as you do would be awesome. I'm sure others would appreciate it as well > plus, it'd be more content for BSIME ! :) Thanks again, and looking forward to the next one....
I struggle to paint Orc skin in anything other than various shades of green. I did Snaga in blue to match the film but it still felt wrong somehow! The skin colour variety you've deployed looks great though. Good start to the year.
