The new home for "Battle Streams in Middle-earth" Here Damian and Steve will continue with all the usual streams to celebrate our hobby, plus much much more
Great loved all the videos and been 3 years, I guess no more are coming...?that's a shame and very sad news, we'll just have to be happy and glad these are all we have! thank you guys
Just managed to catch up on the last hour I missed and it was a great stream to return with and credit to Sam for stepping in who did an amazing job. So glad to have these streams back to help with the hobby and clearing the backlog with the amount of new toys we are currently getting!
Congratulations on the BIG 100! It seemed like an absolute right laugh, and it was most enjoyable to watch it on the replay :) - Bit disappointed that you didn't let off 100 party poppers though... Gotta catch up on the newest streams now!
I will FINALLY be able to be on theme with the Witch King stream coming soon!!! 😂 Still not finished mine so I’ll hold off till that stream comes. Another great stream guys, and Damien thanks for managing to keep these coming with Steve not being around atm
On the whole battle companies convo (and as a person who has asked slight 'dumb' BC questions😅), I think the angle people come from is: 'obviously my warg can't ride a pony/horse etc etc so I want to tweak the rules so my character can get a bonus everyone else can get but I don't know how to do that fairly so please community tell me what you think because I'm worried if I suggest to my opponents I can pay 10pts and get all the cav rules without any of the negatives of actually have a mount then they might laugh in my face or think its unfair on them. All I want is to get something fair and balanced for my efforts where the rules and theme don't align for my BC'. I also feel like if you asked Jay in person 'Can my Warg Leutenant ever get a mount or the mount rules' he'd just say no as that is silly and give absolutly no alternative, which means as the player you miss out on cool things which is exactly the opposite of what BC is about. I just want managed balanced fun. Anyway rant over.😂
So glad I caught up on the stream! I have put a pause on Arwen and will pick up next Saturday. Only undercoat and skin done so still plenty of progress to make.
Great deep dive as always! The part of this sequence in the book that always bothered me and why I'm more inclined to defend the Army of the Dead portrayal in the films is that the army of the Fiefs/Pelargir is enough to turn the tide against Mordor and win, but they didn't consider the defence of the capital city of Gondor worthwhile bothering to show up for in the first place (ostensibly because they were defending the coast which is nowhere near as critical of a geographic target). Like, come back to the beach after you defend the capital guys, priorities please! Also, the Stone of Erech is enormous, and Isildur marks it as where they landed in Middle Earth, but clearly decided that you bring it this far in the first place, the beach is not good enough, might as well drag it halfway up the foothills of the mountain range.
It's over. I'm finally caught up, though sadly not quite done with stuff for teams. At least I can add hobby vlogs to list of things I am patiently waiting for you to do ; )
"I just didn't have time to edit Fantasy Fellowship" followed imdiately by "We had enough time to get a whole extra issue of SBG we hadn't planned" -.-
I think we all know how I feel about that Battle Companies square... But gratz on all the rest. I've still yet to manage to even come close to completing one of these X D
Enjoying these again as I'm on a quest to complete all my Rohan on foot before the new ones are released. Thank you for your time putting these Vlogs together
I enjoyed painting my Gandalf the White so much, I was motivated to get a second to convert, which I eventually ended up doing for Some Doubles Tournament
Another fantastic stream. Thank you to Harry for stepping in. I'll always be missing Steve, but with some great guest hosts, I'm getting that BSIME fix.
I've just started watching these, and I gotta say, the quality of the editing in these is incredible. Mad respect for all the angles, close ups, this is so compelling and such a fun way to watch these games. I already read that you've got more recorded, so good luck with the process mate! Just know people are still watching!
Hi, just wanted to say I love these vlogs, just binged them and the old ones on the gbhl channel. I originally watched some gbhl videos yeeears ago back when I only had the balins tomb and goblin town starter sets, but I had never actually played the game, now years later I'm finally starting to get into the game, yet to play unfortunately, but these vlogs have really inspired my painting and really helped me improve my painting, so thank you so much for that! (My khazad dwarves now have eyes!) I hope to see the next vlog in the next month or so if the previous years are anything to go off of 😂 hope your hobby is going well and thanks for the videos!
Congratulations and thank you. I've been in a real hobby slump this year, with nothing completed. These streams are always up lifting and perfect to have on whilst hobbying
