I remember when I discovered his music for the first time. It was around 2:00 A.M. I was depressed and I had planned to end my own life that night, and I happened to discovered this concert on RU-vid and I stayed awake listening to it. So basically his music saved my life...
It takes a special person to fill a theater of that size with such emotional intensity using only his voice and a guitar. He is a truly incredible performer who shows an emotional vulnerability that draws you in and holds you for as long as he wants. He doesn't hide behind big production, costumes, or the safety of a band. It is all him, right there, strumming his guitar.
I've been mesmerized by Damien for over a decade, through his anguish & subsequent reinventions as an artist. the one constant since his early years w,/Jupiter & Lisa has been his emergence as a solo artist who can bring the most stoic to their knees armed with his voice, passion, & well worn guitar. it's really refreshing to hear such appreciation from a fellow fan put so beautifully thank you Tom Mason!

you should try an expending machine, pour some ice on your glass or go to iceland, in the mid time you theres only warm but you can have a beer with led zeppelin instead
Damien Rice has the only comments section on all of youtube with all praises and zero trolling arses throughout the remarks. I could invite you all to my house and have no worries... you are a fine group of folks- and of course Damien too -god bless you. Mad love for all you do. Well done :)
I love how there's time-line for songs on every Damien live concert, like people who listen to this, really values this, i enjoy the lovely community as well as the music
Damien's live performances are so packed with emotion and passion, yet, lyrically, so few in words. Easy for any one of us to relate to in our own lives. I cannot stop listening to his live shows. They seem so timeless and fitting during these times we live in.
The "kens" introduced me. I remember feeling jealous of the woman who worked with him. The Ken's were kind. I had a place to rest. Eventually I fucked off to California. But it stayed with me. No idea where the kens are. Such beautiful boys.
Te escucho tanto xq aunque no comprenda totalmente tus palabras ,me transmitis un sentimiento y una emoción muy grandes y me llevan a mi corazón...donde esta el amor y tb la pena...GRACIAS Damien!🥰💜🌈💥
@@sergiomattosrazuri1460 He said that he had 'a shark in his head'. Also, he didn't say nothing, he welcomed the supporting act on stage, and said thank you at the end, but that was about it. Very weird to witness but a relief that he discussed it on the radio afterwards.
