I remember when my cousin and I were watching this scene and Elena said "Me and Damon look outside and you and Caroline look inside" and me and my cousin at the same time screamed "I LIKE THAT" and then we looked at each other and laughed 😂
Damon had the right idea. Don't use the cure for the sire bond, break the sire bond. Don't use the cure to get her emotions back, flip her switch. When Damon actually gives her the cure, it's the right time to give her the cure. That's the only time she's truly able to make an honest choice for herself. When she's not sired, when she's not without her humanity, and certainly not when she's obsessed with Katherine.
Honestly the way Elena is with her humanity switch slowly turning on is very similar to how Damon was with his humanity switch turning on- the way he was in season 1-2, pretending he doesn’t care about people to focus on revenge. They are both very similar in struggling with keeping their emotions in check because they feel too deeply and can’t handle it. Stefan and Caroline are very good at controlling their emotions (but Stefan not good at bloodlust the way Elena and Damon are)
she’d just turned her humanity back on and focused everything on the rage for katherine which means she still didn’t feel anything except that rage. did you even watch the show? do you not know how to switch works? lmfao
also she literally spared katherine’s life and instead gave her the cure. she could’ve killed her and instead chose to cure her. pay attention before talking??
@@helenaww Stefan was the same way. When he sought revenge against Klaus, he focused on the rage. That's why he didn't care what Klaus did to Jeremy. It's the same thing here. Her and Bonnie are great friends. I actually consider them closer than her and Caroline.
only one who gets what, what??? yeah so Elena hurt Damon MULTIPLE TIMES, slapped Damon when she thought that bonnie was dead but she wasn't. Stefan and Caroline continuously broke Damons heart when they none stop made excuses on Elena being sired on being completely different when in reality she did feel something no apology there and so much more times.
Elena needed someone and it didn't have to be Stefan because she was lonely sad and was grieving whilst when she fell for Damon she didn't choose to. It happened and when you love someone you don't choose to love someone it just happens
Yall annoy tf out of me when I see comments like this when she literally risked her life to find him. Elena & Damon literally tried again a few days later just for him to roughly grab her up and say he didn't wanna go home.
