I loved him before he started simping after Elena....and afterwards when he built an actual relationship with Bonnie......still not over the fact those two are not together....Imma have to read the novels again one of these days....it¨s been sooooo long but I remember it's nothing like the show and that Damon is actually with Bonnie which are pretty good predispositions for me to enjoy it :D:D:D

@@Terezie96 Bonnie had a crush on him, and Matt and everybody i mean the Book Bonnie loves everyone but book Damon had like a weakness for her. Not like in the show that they were beasties after they had to be with no one else for 4 months in a prison world, in the books they had a relationship like the one Damon and Rose had in the show, without the sex. They shared a kiss once. That's it. But them being a serious couple never happened and Bonnie love story ended with her marrying a werewolf called Xander, and Damon was always all about Elena. I still can't understand why in this fandom people has this misinformation of the novels finishing with Stelena and Bamon when L.J Smith was even fired because she didn't want stelena and she refused to gave that end.
i prefer bamon’s friendship over them being a couple because i just can’t see romantic chemistry lmao. but yeah, bamon in the books is a little disappointing. but delena in the books has some excellent scenes and quotes though.
