I watched this after a mental breakdown like I have every night and instead of crying myself to sleep I watched this and it made me feel better ☺️

Delena was an extremely toxic relationship...they only loved eachother to feed their physical attraction for the other. Bamon was much more healthy and realistic. Most couples start off like what we saw with bamon. Most people start off as friends and then fall in love. I feel Damon’s reason for loving Elena was extremely flawed. It was like he was trying to prove a point by being with Elena. So toxic.... most people who ship delena are immature and haven’t been in a real relationship. Delena is a fantasy relationship that you only see in books. Bamon is reality.

They would’ve been way better than delena. Elena was dependent on him completely. he changed her more than she changed him. With Bonnie, a completely independent person, and Damon, another independent person, they would be better for each other because Damon won’t change Bonnie and vice versa. Because she’s so headstrong in her morals and sure of herself. Elena was in a constant state of “I don’t know what I want” and let Damon get away with everything. (Like killing jeremy). If Damon did something like that to Bonnie, she wouldn’t forgive him. He respects her in ways he doesn’t respect Elena
