I remember this show! Still funny af now. I love Damon. Man, sometimes I just miss having the tv on in the background (when tv had good shows & movies😢)
Seems to me that the quality of sitcoms have gone down so far that the cancelled shows from decades ago are actually better than the ones running now. It's crazy.
@@Fearless_Nikki That's actually part of the problem with sitcoms nowadays. The way Damon was pursuing her is now frowned upon in today's weak society. Even if it's wrong to do in reality, I don't see why men can't be portrayed as MEN in fictional shows.
Damn, Damon knew the formula even back then, even before all that's talked about today on social media, ain't nothing changed, he was preaching at that dinner table 💯💯🙌🏾🙌🏾😂😂
@@scottskizzy1405 No, it's possible that Damon had the script for My Wife and Kids two years before it was actually produced. However, he didn't leave this show for that show. After this show was cancelled, he likely went to work on the script for My Wife and Kids.
I forgot about this show, until I heard and saw the intro. They've been killing me since "in living color" and "blankman". And the episode David guest starred on my wife and kids
Why didn't this migrate to The WB like For Your Love did from NBC or Grounded for Life moved to The WB from FOX? Got that WB vibe all over it like The Wayans Bros.
Too Bad "Damon" Lasted 1 Season On Fox. It Actually Had Potential. This Came Out In The Late '90's In 1998 When Living Single Ended In 1998 And Martin Ended In 1997 Ended A Year Apart Respectively. Living Single Has Just Ended That Same Year In 1998 And New York Undercover Was In It's 4th And Final Season Ending In 1999.
It was an end of an era, they'll never be another time like it. The black shows built the networks up so they could make room for the whyte shows as history shown. The black shows ran their course and served their purposes.
@@renzopeterson153 They Sure Did. One Of The Best Eras Ever And The Best Era On Fox....But It Birthed Another Era. That's 70's Show Came Out In 1998 And Changed Everything.
So both men are brothers...? And who is the woman... a friend? Is David Allen Grier's character gay? How can he be living with fine woman and not making a move on her himself?
Fox and UPN used to premiere a lot of one season Black shows in the 90s! Most of these shows never got past 13 episodes. A second season was very lucky! They probably didn't want to pay more to the writers and actors.
