When you are initially pulling boring bar out and shining light, then you pan to your Tool clearance on inserted drill on back side, can you explain to a novice what you are doing? You are the man, man. Lol

for a rank amateur: could you please explain the alignment marking that you had on the workpiece...it seemed to be used to set the rake angle(?) of the boring bar insert, or adjust the postion of the boring bar to get the cjtting angle needed, or? Thanks!
