Dan and Linda lived 1041 Cypress Ave in San Diego. Here’s the news clip on the 30th anniversary of the murders ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XKmw-k2Y4YY.html some might be thinking of the Coral Reef or the La Jolla house. The home where the double murders took place is located in the Hillcrest area of San Diego, just north of Balboa Park. The home is a large, brick, colonial style home on the south side of Cypress Ave.
@@heathernairn1252 I don’t think so. This vid is from 2017 when it was for sale. I’ve seen a vid several years ago and one of the neighbors who still lives in that neighborhood since the murders said there were several owners who lived there. The Amityville house in Long Island had I believe about 9 owners. Only the Lutz family claimed it was haunted. Other owners said it was a pain when people are walking or driving up to the house taking pics.
Thank you. This case has always fascinated me. The shock of the couple waking to Betty and the gun after hiring bodyguards at their wedding. Hearing her son Danny begging his mother to stop being mean on the phone was heartbreaking. I often think of her children.
It's got a creepy tone...the house, from the outside, looks a lot the same, and it is in need of a major overhaul Brick around pool is stained and uninspiring. Imagine the smell of death and blood lives in these walls!
Are these recent pictures? The outside is beautiful and modern. Such a sad story. No one deserves to be murdered, however, I believe their actions made Betty insane, which lead to their demise.
In 1989 Dan Broderick’s ex wife Betty Broderick shot and killed Dan & his new young bride while they were sleeping. He had an affair with a young woman who worked in his law firm and eventually divorced Betty and married Linda. This pushed Betty eventually and she killed Dan & Linda six months after they got married. Betty is still in prison today.

Was never Betty house he brought her a house of her own & got this one wit his new wife . I’d rather move on be happy than fit ina failed marriage Jus for kids hope she rot in jail
Kind of reminds me of the Chris Watts Murder house. He also was having an affair with a co worker much younger than him and he ended up killing his wife Shannan in their home in their bedroom. The house is also huge and Beautiful with an eerie empty feeling . It's still sits vacant with no buyers because of the His Wife and kids murder.
The Watts family home was recently sold and the new owners spoke out on FB. They have 2 little girls and a little boy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f7c9ff2j9Fw.html
Very sad, the home is nice but too bad Betty couldn't leave him alone. Live and let live. I don't care if he was difficult in the divorce, you don't do what Betty did
NO, and that is very sad. Daughter Lee was at the age of 17 kicked out of his will...he didn't like (Dan) that she wanted to be with her mom. His brother Larry was made an executor of the will, took the boys and his then ex wife was raising them ( for $$$) of course. Linda's family tried to get "some", to no avail. Go figure.
I agree. The realtor uploaded this on their website when the house was for sale in 2017. They don't have to mention the murders unless interested buyers find out when they research the history of the house.
I've seen nicer. It's a fake Tara lookalike. If you look up the real southern style mansions that are a few hundred years old you will see the real deal.
@@martinakuhnert9636 loved gone with the wind and named his son rhett. but tackiness won out and this is the result-a pretend Tara with equally pretentious and fake people in it.
