He’s gone down as the best in his field… He’s the Michael Jordan of Serial Killers. The Florida girls should never happened! Many shoulda paid dearly for that last escape
Btw thank you for all these clips and stuff, I genuinely thank you 🙏. But also, don't you think him wanting to see that underage girl strip while he was in jail, and describe it so passionately, while he had no power whatsoever, kinda pathetic?
It took me until I was over 60 to figure out my brother is a psychopath. I totally get this guy's perspective. We were extremely close as well. The hardest part is they don't really care about us only how their relationship w us makes them look and feel. It's so hard to believe the close relationship wasn't real.
I just think that something was "off" in the relationship between mother and daughter. Liz wanted to be with this man so badly that she in some ways jeopardized her daughter's safety. The daughter could sense her mother's need for this man, and that is why she never "told" on Ted.
So if Ted was raised by his grandparents as mom and dad. Who was Rich's bio parents?? The grandparents?? Sad this guy is stuck in his childhood memories. Tragedy can cripple one's ability to grow, even in age past the years that haunt them most. 😢
His grandparents lived in Pennsylvania. Louise and Ted moved to Tacoma, Washington when Ted was about 5yrs old. Louise met and married Johnny Bundy. Johnny adopted Ted. Rich and his other brother Glenn and 2 sisters are the biological children of Louise and Johnny. Johnny died in 2007
Guys, a few months ago(around at least like 2 months) I found out that Debra Kent is friends with my now dead nana(Cheryl Lund(originally Cheryl Widdison before getting married to a still alive uncle that I have that I won’t be sharing their name for privacy reasons. Has anyone else had a member or a relative/ a relatives friend or anyone you know have a relative or a friend that was murdered by Ted Bundy? Anyways that’s all I have to say.
In the re-release of Liz's book THE PHANTOM STRANGER, we learn far more details about these events. This video - which contain one-sided inaccuracies, particularly the self-serving untruths of the policewoman - is a poor representation of Liz's actual experiences. That book is worth the read for these reasons alone. AND daughter Molly writers an addendum chapter which is somewhere between 'therapy' and 'more revelations'. One caution though - if you've ever been 'embarrassed for someone else', this book has MANY episodes like that because the book is soooo much about Liz's life and decisions, and far less about Ted. Liz's original book is a sad confessional about a young woman escaping her prior life's 'traps' and too desperately reaching out for 'other' saviors. It is embarrassing to read those passages and realize how agonizing her life had been.
She makes me sick. Wow she is still lying about everything. I can’t believe there are horrible people out there like her I just can’t believe it. This is so sad I just don’t understand how this person still taking interviews she deserves all the pain in the world for taking a young beautiful talented persons life. Insanity just crazy. No one can do what she did Selena’s talent is out of this world.
If this is true, wouldn't local authorities be made aware of this? Was his mother made aware that he caused injury to a little girl? The interviewer here did not ask any pertinent questions to these assertions, why? Hard to believe this behavior did not, for whatever reason, come to the attention of juvenile authorities.
Most Serial Killers look like Serial Killers, Ted looked like the nice guy next door, what a great actor, but he only fooled people for so long, Great upload 👍
Imagine falling in love with a serial killer…. She and her daughter have carried tons of weight for years and it’s not their fault. Liz it’s not your fault!!!
I can relate to his life's struggle to come to terms with what his brother did. It is indefensible and unimaginable so how does he make"normal" sense of it? He cannot. I went through a similar struggle because my brother and sister were abusing my demented elderly mother physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially. I discovered the whole horrific story at the last possible moment and I was able to save and protect my mother from them until the end of her life six years later. Still, the shock, trauma, shame and bewilderment I went through to come to terms with what my family members were capable of became my life's greatest struggle. But our story is private, not global news, and the privacy of it became the space within which I could find healing. My trust in people was annihilated and it still impacts me today although I have made important positive headway in my relationships thanks to intensive, trauma-focused therapy for many years. (I remain no contact with my siblings and extended family members who remain in their denial.) I'm very sorry this man was impacted so deeply and severely by his brother's psychopathy. I can see the familiar shattering of a life and in his case he determines to somehow survive within it. He comes across as being a gentle, beautiful soul and I am very glad that truth about him has remained intact.
Also, she learned very little about Ted's "other women" and never about all. Of course, Ted was the keymaster and locked everything away, as much as he could. I think she'd read Ann Rule's book at some point - or started. She may have seen Richard Larsen's book but likely the TV movie DELIBERATE STRANGER, and probably didn't finish. She simply slamming the door on outside sense. I've wondered if Ted slowed writing or if he was writing to others, more often.
I'm sorry but this press conference bothered me I mean just look at granski suspicious behaviour here eye movement and how he just burst into tears like he was rehearsing a script of a play look at his eyes the way he's looking her own mother didn't even do that and lo and behold he gose fishing the same morning as Scott on the morning of lacis dissapearance but in police interview he said who gose fishing on Christmas eve morning and lo and behold he did
"Why did I live?" - Carol. Answer: to tell the rest of the world. To testify and convict him. To get Law Enforcement to finally pay attention, to get his hometown acquaintances and "friends" to pay attention. (Mostly, they were making excuses for Ted - completely wrong, too.) I am certain Carol suffered all these years but, somehwere in these decades, she's had some answer to her question, and has stepped above her guilt, above her imagination and out of her trauma to bring us this channel AND bring more assurance to others than she had received herself.
I remember when that happened. I was 12… All of the adults in my family had the attitude that Bundy should be lynched, especially my mom. Nobody doubted that he was a monster, at least not that I ever heard from.
If it were a male assailant he wouldn't have made it alive to see his possible parole hearing like Yolanda is, the cartels somebody would have taken him out
Because you killed her why because you’re not gonna have it if you kill someone then you’re not going to have it if you’re a good ones then you’re going in heaven like Selena she was the good ones are so bright just so powerful so that nobody forget her her legacy keeps on going on and on and she never be forgotten. She always be in everybody’s head and everybody stole the sweet. Enjoy rest in peace long live Selena Long live Selena. Just love Selena so much Yolanda F her.❤
I'm just so glad that you reacted as quickly and reflexively as you did to get away from that animal. You truly are a survivor and an inspiration. The more I learned about what happened afterwards, I was absolutely shocked and repulsed that after you escaped that Bundy not only killed Debi Kent, but tried abducting a music teacher first. His conduct and behavior in Utah was particularly shocking to me...4 murders in as many weeks...And so many younger people who only learned of him through a Zac Efron movie...they will never truly understand without watching documentaries like this. And learning stories like this. Thank you, Carol. All the best.
Blessed weekend Carol, this is a very vital fundamental piece of the birth of Bundy enjoying hurting people. This is before " pornography"...hurting, frightening, humiliating little girls...Thanks Carol..from UK to Utah..💐
