I remember two things from seeing the amazing tour is not on fire as a wee lass: 1. They put waaaaay more effort into it than they needed to. Still when I saw them on stage at Interactive Introverts I was still weirdly surprised at how tall they seemed. But I was also just shocked to see them irl for the first time, and I saw them from row 6 so might be different to standing before them.

honestly, even at the time (when the wound was still fresh) i understood why they ended pinof, and now in hindsight i feel validated as shit to get their reasoning and understand it. it was a beautiful era and i'm happy with the closure. now please, for the love of god PLEASE, let them react to dan and phil crafts. no progression. all nostalgia.

I remember being a 14 years old italian little girl trying to learn English and I kept seeing everyone talking about "Dan and Phil" so I went on youtube and clicked on the first video that I saw (PINOF 2013) and I was scarred, can you imagine what it is like watching PINOF without understanding a single word and not knowing NOTHING about Dan and Phil. As someone who actually never watched any Dan and/or Phil until these rewatches randomly appeared in my feed a few weeks ago I have to say it was still suprisingly comforting to watch. As someone who is about the same age as them, seeing two mature people looking back at their younger selves like this with both humour and understanding, celebrating and roasting themselves was lovely. I have a hard time doing that with my own younger self. So thank you!

Watching these trilogy (!) has been quite emotional for me honestly. Beyond seeing people I used to watch all the time, I felt like I was kinda facing a mirror as I think about how much i have grown.
