Dan FINALLY tries out being player 1 | Wheel of Fortune [2] 

Since Arin asked on the previous Wheel of Fortune episode earlier this week, I did in fact tally up all the money he and Dan have won in all the games of WoF they've played: in 44 games (over 44 episodes, including the two this week) the totals are: Arin has won $1,165,320 and Dan has won $955,380. The highest single game win was Dan with a whopping $116,870 in one game. Also, since Arin asked for other stats in previous episodes: Arin has won 22 games of Wheel of Fortune Dan has won 17 games of Wheel of Fortune (the remaining games were won by Weird Al and Jon with one win each, and the CPU won 3 times). The highest number of Bankrupts in an episode is 8 (with 1 for the CPU, 2 for Arin, and a whopping 5 for Dan). The highest number of Lose a Turns in an episode is 5 (with 1 for Arin, and of course 4 IN A ROW for Dan). This was fun to calculate, if only because I got to watch all the WoF episodes again.

I started watching all the Wheel of Fortune episodes yesterday to fulfill Arin's request. I'm halfway through (watched 22 of the now 44 episodes, including this one) and should hopefully finish it tomorrow or so.

Going after the computer is the real advantage, I think. The AI tends to guess a few correct letters almost no matter how much is already on the board before whiffing regardless of how close it is to being solved. It makes it pretty easy to win any puzzle that player 2 misses a letter on.

Okay but the prize they showed in Canada un the winter was in Ottawa and they have an annual festival called Winterlude and its really, really fun. I used to go every year wuth my family. We would skate down the Rideau Canal and see ice sculptures un the park, and get beavertales (a fried dessert like an elephant ear)! I miss it so much so when it came on screen i was like YESSSSS
