My favourite part is that the CBS and Fox show never came to be and the Adult Swim show that "30 people are gonna watch" was RICK AND MORTY. It's crazy to think how much doubt Dan had about something that is such a cultural phenomenon
See the six days to air, the South Park documentary. Trey Parker seems embarrassed and said something like," this shouldn't be on tv." I've found people who are talented don't think they're as talented as we see them.
Painfully relatable creative process, also the habit of reassuring people that i've got everything under control while i actually haven't touched any of the work for a really long period of time.
@@Guadeloop I’ve done it today twice with two separate clients. Hoping for a burst of energy and inspiration which eventually comes. Wish I had the discipline to do it religiously
Somehow I can totally imagine the fantasy scenario at Adult Swim to be more accurate! An exaggerated version, maybe, but I can imagine the shenanigans in the RIck and Morty writers room :)
@@jomac841 I'm more annoyed that I had respect for him. Should have seen all the massive red flags on his podcast, but I just waved it all off as edgy jokes from a weird person. It all seems painfully obvious now, especially his weird comments (and behavior) regarding kids.
@@DriscolDevil same. I feel so grossed out by that. I should have seen the red flags too. And in retrospect seeing his behaviour after the fact it seemed so obvious.
@@jomac841 I'm really surprised people weren't bringing up clips from his podcast, maybe it was just too obscure. He would get so weird when a young fan would write in and say their age. People were bringing up his dms to an underage fan and debating the legitimacy as if he didn't do the exact same thing publicly. It was so weird to watch and weird to see people still defending him by pretending everything was "just allegations." He was acquitted of one specific accusation, that has nothing to do with his creepy behavior with kids or him just openly talking about how he wants a girlfriend who never wants to leave the house so they can just play video games and eat cereal. Again, it all seems so obvious now, they even joked about how his perfect girlfriend would be a child.
Can I go into a harmontown related comment section without having to read references to Rick and Morty the whole time. You guys know this guy isnot just R&M, right? Its fucking annoying.
Me using the word"baby" has some sort of indication of my maturity level? That makes absolutely no sense. I called you a baby, because you are one. Complaining about What people reference? You're a complete child.
