Iirc there was a post in the radio broadcast from the Astral Express before 2.0 started, the Xianzhou was actually invited by the Family, but Alliance ignored the call because they either are not interested with the Watchmaker's Legacy or they have too much to deal with on their hands at present (the aftermath of the Ambrosial Arbor aka the Stellaron incident with Phantylia and the matters regarding Jingliu are some of these) To quote the radio broadcast, in case anyone might ask: "Many factions have receiived an invitation to Penacony, the Planet of Festivities. This is the first time that the Family in Penacony has openly sent formal invtations to all galactic factions." If there is no mention to it whatsoever about them extending an invite, here's an analogy. So the Family, as messengers of the Aeon of Harmony, may have invited friendly factions or allied to them. The IPC was amongst mentioned in the broadcast, other included factions within the Hoyolab post from the past before 2.0 started were the Galaxy Rangers, Garden of Recollection, Intelligenstia Guild, and the Masked Fools. It's obvious that the Family extended an invitation to the Xianzhou as a gesture of goodwill as a part of the faction of the Hunt, alongside the Galaxy Rangers. Two prominent faction that connects Xianzhou and the Family is the IPC when I rewatched the previous broadcast in the Astral Express, as Xianzhou and IPC had extended their friendly relations regarding different matters. The other prominent faction being the Astral Express since we were extended an invite by the Family and we had the Jade Abacus of the Xianzhou symbolizing our alliance to them before we departed there. In a diplomatic perspective unless one side aggravated the other or they had tensions in which case they didn't had, it would be a slap on the face to the Family if the Xianzhou wasn't invited whereas they extended invitation to the Galaxy Rangers when they both are factions from the Aeon of the Hunt.

Welt also didn't get to shine in any other trailblazings (except when he knocked out mc in herta station)

It’s a good thing the Jade wasn’t wasted for this. Boothill kept telling Dan Heng it’s overkill to use it in this situation cause it’s not even that dire. Thankfully they managed to stop DH from using it in reality. That means in an actual bonkers fight we can summon Jing Yuan.

I have a consolation for you. 1) This dream hard implied that the Astral Express thinks so highly of Jing Yuan that he can solve all problems. Look at how in dream world after dealing with Sunday, King Yuan also takes negotiations over to save Penacony and even IPC behaves when he is involved. He literally solves all problems in the dream world. The AE believed he is their saviour. 2) This means we can actually use the Jade in the future when we really actually need it. Boothill kept telling Dan Heng it would be overkill to use Jade in this situation because it wasn’t even that dire. So in future we can summon Jing Yuan to save our asses when we are actually about to die. So yeah I’m still happy about this.
