I just finished watching this and got to admit Charlie is well rehearsed..he is as guilty as the shooter..his sister, mother and father need to be arrested and held accountable..this is my opinion. Charlie thought he was some tough guy for 5 minutes…GUILTY

Charlie tried to present his mother as caring and sympathetic. Donna Adelson said to her daughter Wendi Adelson: "If you dressed your kids in Hitler youth uniforms...as an act of defiance, I couldn't care less...it would show Jibbers that he's not in control..."

His scenario still makes no sense at all! 1) Sig and Rivero can not cut a "installment" pay agreement with Charlie. The higher ups in Latin Kings would make that decision and they would require all money up front so they can pay gang members. 2) After KM, Sig and Riv.were arrested and sentenced, Charlie stopped paying them. Why? The LK would have forced him to continue paying. 3) Why was Donna providing the checks? Donna could have given Charlie the cash to appease them. 4) Who writes checks to their extortionist?

PROSECUTORS' QUESTION | "Why couldn't they just come put a gun on your head and say "give me all the money and you are save"? His response: "Thank God they didn't". Doubles down: "Thank God they didn't or I would have been killed". On these two things rest his conviction. Count on it!

The extortion defense seens too contrived to make any sense. While it explains a lot of the evidence, the whole premise defies logic. Most people would have gone to the police, reported it and sought police protection, and the killers would have been found. Then they would be safe from harm. Why would the Latin Kings go after a dentist because one of theirs was accused by him of extortion? That's not the way gangs operate. They only go after people when someone messes with their business. If Charlie had no ill will towards Dan Markel, he would have gone to the police for the sake of the parents and Dan's children. This he didn't do. This does not create reasonable doubt.

If Charlie walks and a Latin King (insulted by Charlie's remarks about the low intelligence of Latin Kings) decides to carjack him for reasons of extortion, will Charlie call the police?

So basically what Charlie is saying and letting the world know is that he is essentially an easy target to extort. All the best in prison with that theory. smh.

I love how on redirect the defense lawyer has to go with idea that Charlie didn’t know that Katie was the extortionist until her trial. The fact that he doubles down with Charlie on why Charlie was so nice to Katie and kept her happy because SHE was protecting him. That was stupid. It makes the lawyer look like he absolutely knows the entire “timeline” wasn’t believable. Charlie made it crystal clear that it was his defense when he was in cross. It simply makes him look more and more guilty.

Family is everything, so they say. A family who commits the crime together deserves to do the time together. Wendi & Donna sent Charlie. Harvey knew all along. Charlie sent Katie. Katie sent Sigfredo. Like Dan, Sig was a father who fell for a diabolical woman but took Dan's life and is now doing life. Now, Charlie faces life in prison. The circle is almost full. Wendi, Donna, and Harvey are next. Wendi played dumb. Unlike Dan's family, none of Charlie's family members showed up to support him because Donna & Harvey planned on pleading the 5th - HIS OWN FAWKING PARENTS, mind you... Wendi only showed up to testify to try to save her own arse because all four culprits are GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY. I was SO relieved to find out the Jury got it right. They did a fabulous job. Fry in HELL Charlie. Can't WAIT for Donna's, Wendi's, and Harvey's indictment, although Harvey might get away with it.
