Dan found me on Instagram, it didn't take long to train him up to be a safe and confident driver as he demonstrates in this mock test.
In this video he drives very well and passes a mock driving test with ZERO faults. Hope you enjoy watching...

Great video, clear and concise instructions and learner knew what he was doing. I was even caught out by that second left turn into the small road. I have done 18 hours in lessons and like seeing these mock tests to improve and see where the potential to go wrong is. I think you should definitely purchase some better cameras and potentially a better microphone in the car. Thumbs up from me though, keep up the good work!

Hi Brummiescott Thanks so much for watching my video and commenting. Yes absolutely these mock test videos definitely help out Learner Drivers. Wishing you the best of luck with your lessons. Yeah I'll be investing in better cameras with better audio in the future. The channel is still new to me so I'm still testing the waters. If you're enjoying my content please do subscribe as it'll help my videos reach a wider audience and spurs me to carry on... thank you.

24:25 would that be considered a drivers fault for the oncoming pedestrian?
@kmkldrivingschool
@kmkldrivingschool Год назад
Hi Taheed. Thank you for watching and commenting. As per the Highway Code, a driver SHOULD give way to a pedestrian waiting to cross and MUST give way to pedestrians on a zebra crossing. On this occasion, the pedestrian was neither waiting to cross or already on the zebra crossing so therefore no driving fault was committed.

@@kmkldrivingschool, my instructor says if you see someone near the zebra crossing even if you don't know if they will cross, still be prepared to stop

How do you know when to turn right at the traffic lights at 5:40 and 20:21 ?
@kmkldrivingschool
@kmkldrivingschool Год назад
Hi Lucy @ 5:40 is a traffic light controlled T Junction. As with all T Junctions when turning from the major road into the minor road, you wait till there is a safe gap in the traffic and then make your turn. @ 20:21 is a traffic light controlled Crossroads Junction. Same here, you move into the middle of the junction, get your car into a safe position and then complete your turn when there is a safe gap in the oncoming traffic.

My test is at 8:57 and schools will be back, do you have any videos of any routes you think they may take at this time where it could potentially be busy?
@kmkldrivingschool
@kmkldrivingschool Год назад
Hi Lucy From memory - try watching routes 1 & 2... I believe these were test routes that were given to my pupils during the morning rush hour. During busy periods, I'd expect the examiners to avoid certain areas such as the roundabouts outside St Peter's Hospital and the A317. From past experience, Addlestone can be quite busy during those times too. Obviously there is no knowing exactly where the examiner can take you on the actual day though. Hope this helps.

At precisely 4:46, did you want Dan to take the road that’s directly behind the blue sign? If so, do you signal right?
@kmkldrivingschool
@kmkldrivingschool Год назад
Hi there. Thanks for your comment and for watching my video. Please subscribe if you haven't already done so as it'll help the channel grow! Many thanks! Yep that's correct, my intention was for Dan to take the road directly behind the blue sign... yep you'll have to signal right to go there.

@@kmkldrivingschool thanks so much for your swift reply. Your videos have helped me a lot, I truly appreciate it. Even shared them with a friend and he also found them very useful. So just to confirm, if you don’t follow the bend, there are 2 roads you can take. You should position the car a bit forward into the gap, and for both exits, signal right? Even for the road that looks like it’s straight ahead?
@Junaid1087
@Junaid1087 Год назад
Oops sorry for asking for confirmation on that, I didn’t see the 2nd paragraph of your reply. Cool thanks, got it 👍🏼
@kmkldrivingschool
@kmkldrivingschool Год назад
@@Junaid1087 absolutely correctly, that's exactly what I'd do... signal right regardless of which road you intend to take (either the 1st one on the right or the one that's looks like its directly ahead)... then position the car in the gap/middle of the road in such a way to make it easy for you to take which ever road you need to and then complete your turn when safe. Thanks for sharing with your friend... really appreciate your support!!

Pulling up on the left has a yellow line when has that been a safe place 15.16 I know you can't park there but pulling up on a yellow line during a test should at least be a fault.
@kmkldrivingschool
@kmkldrivingschool 3 месяца назад
Was just looking for Dan to pull up safely and move off safely... not really looking for Dan to find a place where you can "park". For example, there might be a road on test where parking is only for residents... but it doesn't mean to say you can't pull up on the left and then move off again. In a real life scenario, you might just pull over for a short period of time to drop off a friend... perfectly fine.
