Dan Patrick recaps the Denver Nuggets sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers to advance to the NBA Finals as well as Lebron James' postgame comments regarding retirement
How lazy from Pauly. No story to the Denver first finals trip? What a joke. Cause that would take digging and real reporting. LeBron is the low hanging fruit that Pauly is clearly used to grabbing. Clear example of what's wrong with our media and the consumer
Instead of praising Denver nationally, all the media is doing is falling on their knees and hypocritically acknowledging the stupid and calculated comment from Lebron. Lebron wants attention, always has. Lebron is NOT retiring. " I dont play for anything else than championships this time in my career" said Lebron Bro, you have 3 legit championships with superteams + a bubble gum championship in 20+ years.
Almost every team from like 2007-2018 was a super team and plenty plenty more throughout nba history. And I don't understand why the bubble isn't a legit championship? You just sound like a hater lol
At age 38 with no bench rest, LeBron consistently ran out of gas in the fourth quarter in the Denver Series. LeBron shot a record low 1 for 22 for 3-pointers in the 4th quarter during the playoffs. Game 1 Denver series, 4th quarter 1 offensive rebounds, shooting 0 for 2 from 3-pointers, 1 for 4 field goals. Game 2 Denver series, 4th quarter 0 offensive rebounds, shooting 0 for 3 from 3-pointers, 3 for 7 field goals. Game 3 out of gas in 4th quarter 0 offensive rebounds, shooting 1 for 4 from 3-pointers, 2 for 6 field goals. Game 4 out of gas in 4th quarter 0 offensive rebounds, 0 for 1 from 3, 1 for 6 field goals, 3 points.
I think the topic has to be the nuggets, bc we have an offseason for lebron. Step aside if your not playing anymore, your already on off-season but other teams arent
Jamal played great but Jokic averaged a 28 point triple double against the supposed best defensive team in the playoffs, was constantly doubled and dominated game 4. He was the MVP for this series.
@@DanielTorres-pw8il So did every other player. What's your point? So apparently, Lebron was the only one that got to rest. Are people really this idiotic? Yes
@@ArcwolThe rest isn't part of a normal season, though: and playing in opposing, hostile arenas IS. Soooo, yeah, I agree: it doesn't count as a 100% authentic NBA Championship. So sorry if our (correct) opinions happen to trigger your fragile self.
@@Vic-Vega Your logic is flawed because everyone experienced the same bubble environment. In fact, it's an even better equalizer because you factor out advantages like home field and a teams fan base. It's a more controlled environment. I'm sorry if your feeble mind isn't able to comprehend basic logic.
Lebron cannot win without a super team because he cant make anyone better and its always been a myth that he could....he's going to beg for Kyrie and they're still not going to win a championship...he's going down as the most NEEDY superstar of all time.
Hello, everyone it's not about the Lakers or Lebron. It's just time for another team to win. Nobody stays on top forever. Lets just congratulate the Nuggets the Lakers lost.............05/23/23
Lakers need a closer like Murray, Butler, Lillard, etc. At age 38 with no bench rest, LeBron consistently ran out of gas in the fourth quarter in the Denver Series. What Denver has are astute picks similar to what GSW did. Nikola Jokic? Who knew? Apparently the Nuggets. Jamal Murray. Lacks athleticism they said. Shooting and size negate that plus a good handle. Michael Porter? Oh no back and hip problems we’ll pass. Thanks we’ll take him. Aaron Gordon.. you get the idea. Well done Denver front office now you’re looking at your first Finals and likely an NBA Championship.
Denver has been great all year, not surprised at all they swept LA who was facing a huge uphill battle the last two months. LA looked a little bit tired mentally and just couldn't sustain the same level Denver to match up, still a great season!!
They had some bad matchups and they had nobody else on their bench they can turn to try out instead. LA probably wins last night if LeBron rests. He is too old to play 48 minutes
LeBron like fing with hater so many people act like they hate LBJ but on the real they like him the man keep his sht together got 4 good friend got a beautiful wife and kids send kids to college and got everybody talking about him keep doing your thing the chosen one king James the best basketball story every go look it point blank stop reaching for bull sht
NBA all time greats that have been swept in the playoffs or championship games (off the top of my head): Lebron, Magic, Kareem, Jordan, Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, and Bird. To most NBA fans, the players I named are in the top ten players of all time. Nothing to be ashamed of to be swept.

The Nuggets are losing to the Heat. If the Heat shows up like they are doing with the Celtics, they are winning. I saw a major weakness in the Nuggets.
