What do you need to make a dual battery from kings and how to wire it up? I know you have made videos on dual batteries but I still don’t know how they work and what each different piece does.

Absolutely. Let's start at the beginning. Basic servicing. Oils, filters, priming fuel pumps, pads & shoes etc. & NOT JUST BLOODY PATROLS!!! Just kidding. But the differences we may find in different makes etc

Regardless of the otherwise excellent content in this episode, I'd like to say how much I really appreciate the articulate, intelligent dialogue and Dan's obvious mechanical knowledge and experience. AA's relaxed style belies just how focused you are, setting the standard and the example in this crowded, but not necessarily good youtube space. It's why I watch follow your channel!

The basic mechanic stuff was worth watching. The extra engineering deep dive into why things happen, like the pads off gassing, is the sort of thing that I LOVE to learn because understanding why gives me the ability to make educated decisions instead of just following a replacement guide. Keep on it. Btw, I love my '89 GQ LWB wagon with td42 silvertop. I want to get a cab chassis version to turn into an off-road tow truck. If only I had the money and workshop space to do it...

i found also the slide bolts on the calliper, if they get dirt rust etc. they bind as well, so i clean them up with a brace wire brush on a bench grinder, and check if there in okay shape. also make sure the rubber booth around the slide is good. i apply a fin bit of bearing grease or rubber grease onto the the slide. this ensures the floating calliper can slide freely along that shaft. if its in poor condition, change it

love the tip on grinding down the old bearing races to use to install the new races....with calipers sticking, I had a sticking caliper, I replaced and greased the caliper slides, to find I had a hole in the boot that covers the hydraulic seal and dirt etc had built up inside the bore between the hydraulic sealing ring and the boot,,, I ended up rebuilding the caliper but spent a lot of time removing that build up of dirt etc...
