This is Dan's palliative care story. Dan is a former palliative care nurse practitioner who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia at age 47. Dan received palliative care early in his diagnosis, which has helped Dan and his wife and caregiver, Lisl, manage his symptoms and live life to the fullest. Improving quality of life and supporting the whole person is what palliative care is all about.
