You missed it...He headed to Nashville with a notebook full of songs he wrote. SHE went to Hollywood to become a movie star, because he always said she looked so pretty ! When neither of their dreams came true, they wanted to go BACK to Montana.

I've always thought "Addicted" should have been a huge crossover hit. Some pop singer (maybe a female?) could cover that song and it would blow up. It's just too good not to come back and have another life.

been through Montana once. was a crazy trip, no tknowing how to dress. it was 60s where i live, then went through the rockies there was snow on the ground, and finally i ended my trip near Las Vegas where it was 100 degrees, all over one trip and one set of clothes!

This was one of our favorite 80s country songs and was a top duet hit. Dan Seals had an earlier life in the 70s in the duo England Dan and John Ford Cooley.

Dan was a native Texan. He really had a great career in country music after the England Dan days. His song, "Everything That Glitters (Is Not Gold)" is one you ought to check out Don.

Beautiful song Farm Daddy aka Robert love this song.always loved this song . Marie went with which way worked for her in country which was great . I loved her on the Donny and Marie show when I was kid (although I had a crush on Donny lol) . Her and Donny had show together in Las Vegas for a time . Still more beautiful then ever .

Yup he missed it. But it’s hard to remember all your thoughts as you are listening. One thing I see many many reactors do is back up the song 15-20 seconds so they make sure they heard it correctly or want to highlight a certain point. I think it would have had a higher rating too if he hadn’t missed that part. Hard to say.

Thank you for replying it's very kind of you. One thing you should put on your bucket list is the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, NM. I remember in 1974 there were about 10 balloons, now there are hundreds. Happens the first 10 days of October. Thank you again for your response, time to go back through your list.

@@sarahberke7194 I've been to Albuquerque a few times (around 1992) and stayed in Sandia Heights, took the tram to the restaurant at the top of the peak, and saw some balloons. But the festival was much larger after that, but the ones we saw were so serene.

@@RockN2Country NM is a big state and there are many sites to see. Our Native American community is vast and the culture center on 12st offers good food and good shows and information. The Georgia O' Keefe museum has many pieces of her artwork. We welcome you back anytime.

Marie is very good and harmonizes so well with Dan, but she's not on his level.
