This song gives me hope that there are those out there who decided to take separate paths in life and discovered each other once again - this time, together on the same path with a love that will last. We are not perfect, but we are perfect enough in the eyes of those who love us.
My mom loved this song and we would sing it together when I was a child. I was really missing her today, and after not hearing it for years decided to look it up, I still knew every line. Love and miss you Mom. Thank you for uploading this.
The first 8 bars of the chorus really carries the emotion. Im 43 and never really listened to country music but this song just popped up in my head. I remembered it from a country music cd collection TV advertisement that was heavily promoted in the 90's.
Love Marie when she sings with all these guys country music....great song .....love this ty Dave ....👍💖☺️😊👍👍......hope you have a good evening Dave and family 💖🙂....
This is one of those songs you could listen to forever and never get tired of it. It always puts a big smile on my face. I love this song. Thank you for posting this.
Oh yes, the CMN Telethon in 1985. Marie and Dan ended up singing this song on a lot of TV shows. I think the first time they sang it together was on “Solid Gold”.
Came here today, October 13th, to share this song on FB because it is Marie's birthday. And sadly learned it was also John Ford Coley's birthday. Why sad? Because England Dan passed away back in 2009 and he sang with both these stars.
Ive never heard this song before, its lovely...gotta love those harmonies! Thankyou for posting. I love the Osmonds, I was a big fan. I was about 15, when this was recorded. Here in New Zealand, it was records on the birthday and Christmas list. The only time we bought that kinda thing.
This duet by Marie and Jim Seals' brother is a true classic. Every time I hear this song, I have to sing along. Thanks for reposting this, Dave. Have a Montana Monday and keep the mountains in your eyes....📺🎶🧔💟🤝🌄👀
