Such a touching experience to share with Dan. It's normally extremely difficult to sing under such circumstances and as you say, a privilege that Dan would "bare" himself and share it with us. Thank you for your reaction🥰

70 yr old Grandma of 2 here ! We love Dan and Loved your reaction for Dan and his real and emotional feelings he expressed in his dedication to his Father. He shares all his Emotion , expression , animation , strength and Power in all his songs. You see his heart and soul in his eyes. @70yroldGrandmaof2here, I am a 63 yo grandma of 7 and I hear you! Dan is younger than all 3 of my kids so it makes me want to hug Dan. His pain is palpable. My heart goes out to him. There hasn't been one single song that isn't completely amazing! I love metal and his metal songs are fabulous along with his band Fearless. His brother Davi is in his band also.

It was beautiful! There is another Elvis he does - Love Me Tender that is so emotional because it concerns his father’s passing also. You need to listen to the prelude before he sings to fully understand why he sings it.

@@grandy2875It is but her husband had been watching American Trilogy when he told her he wanted Dan’s version played at his own funeral. He was so touched by how Dan was paying homage to his father.

Sometime after this, he did a cover of "Love Me Tender" for an old couple that messaged him.. The story about it that he tells in the beginning is bittersweet, but such an amazing honor to hear.

Five days. I watch this usually at least once a week. It makes me cry every time, but on the other hand, I love the LOVE that he shows throughout, and the tribute with the photos always makes it feel like it's your own family. I haven't checked to see, but if you haven't done his other Elvis cover, it's also very moving (Love Me Tender). Thank you very much for a great reaction (as always). 😀

So much grief and rightly so. First time listener of your reactions. Thank you and Bill. I've suggested this song and no one will play it. From what I understand Dixie land is "contraversial". But my research told me otherwise. Thank you, again. Respect to my new favorite performer, Mr. Dan Vasc. Prayers for him. Great reaction.

Thank you for this reaction! This one always rips my heart out, seeing Dan's obvious grief. Have you done a reaction to his cover of The Last Goodbye yet? He did that in January 2018, just three months after his dad's passing, and I heard him mention that he was thinking of his dad on that one also. I'll watch any Dan reactions, though. Excellent job on this one!

My mom sings that Frankie Laine and all those Elvis songs and every time you come open your mouth and seeing those all I can do cry what are not you have Dan my mother is gone I know but every time you sing I can feel her holding me what to touching moment than that thank you so much and I'm really sorry about your loss of your father that breaks my heart cuz I'm at Daddy's Little Girl

Dan’s father’s favorite hymn was Amazing Grace. He gave Dan the harmonica when he was a child. Dan released Amazing Grace just before Easter. Dan was on a recent podcast and said he wished his Dad could have seen the success he has reached with his music.

It was several months ago, so I’m not sure. I think is was on Friday Night Tights, he is often a guest on that podcast. He wrote and sings their intro song. Hope you find it. If I come across it, I will let you know.

I did find one where Dan talks about how he got started on RU-vid and he mentions how he wished his father could have seen his success. This podcast was a year ago, long before he released Amazing Grace. I know this is not the one I referred to, but I thought you might enjoy. It’s Drunk 3PO EP5

Elvis is dead you know and he certainly did not have the range that Dan has. Loved Elvis but love Dan even more, he has probably the greatest voice. I am in my 80`s and I have never heard a singer like this in my life.
