Dan loves to “metalize” non-metal songs. Do try I’ll Make a Man out of You, Adele’s Rolling in the Deep, Toss a Coin to Your Witcher or Burn Butcher Burn or any of his other Witcher covers, all of which are great. For more classic Dan, Time to Say Goodbye or the opera aria Nessun Dorma. There’s also Loch Lomond, Scarborough Fair, and other folk songs, plus 80s rock, ballads, Christmas songs (Angels We Have Heard on High is one of my favorite Dan songs, so joyous and gorgeous.) I can't understand why he hasn't reached his goal of one million subs yet, after all these years of his music being on you tube. I had never heard of him until a few months ago when I heard his Amazing Grace. That song alone hooked me and drug me (willingly) down Dans rabbit hole.
He'll get there. Whether or not he wins or loses his bet with Gary (Nerdrotic) remains to be seen. Right now, I think there's a conspiracy going on with Gary's channel subscribers. It looks to me like THEY are doing what I've been urging our Dan's channel subscribers to do--if just a small fraction of our numbers would create at least ONE extra channel (like NOW), and then immediately go and subscribe to Dan with that new channel, we could help him hit that 1M mark overnight. I have three different channels (my personal one, this one, and my gaming one). They are all active, and they are all subscribed to Dan's channel. It's very easy to do, and not "illegal" in any way, shape or form.

Please check out and react to Dan Vasc singing Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar. You'll be amazed, once again, at the powerful performance he creates. I've said from the beginning that he belongs on Broadway.
"Flawless" is a wonderful choice of words. It _was_ flawless. What an amazing natural talent, not just expertly honed, but filled with feeling. I'm in awe.
I've heard him say that he's doing exactly what he wants. Record companies, touring or anything else doesn't seem to interest him. Many of his RU-vid friends want him to visit America, but there's a long line to get a Visa because of covid regulations that backed up the process in 2020 he said. I'm so happy that you featured this beautiful performance. He would be a wonderful addition to Broadway. Keep doing what you're doing. It's working. ❤
Partly, it's because the people DEMANDING what's in the mainstream, keep it going. The more converts we get to channels like Dan's, the less the mainstream will carry the junk that they carry so much of at the moment.
Probably partly bc mainstream convinces themselves that in order to profit, they need to: 1. Gouge the creator 2. Produce sounds that mimic the sounds they've previously profited from. 3. Remaster perfectly good singers with pitch correction and/or auto-tune. (Which has a tendency to replace the human quality with an artificial quality). And other reasons, undoubtedly. For auto-tune rants, check out Wings of Pegusus analysis video where Fil almost explodes over what they did to Celine Dion's beautiful song. Thankfully, there are videos of Celine singing it prior to that. (Which Fil proudly plays for us). Sadly, she's not the only one they've messed up.
Thanks for the reaction. I am glad he doesn’t want to be on Broadway. He is much more accessible and creative here on RU-vid. I can’t even imagine how boring it would be to sing the same songs over and over and over year after year. He has many interests and projects going on. He is an inspiration to many people. Now I need to follow Dan’s Law. Time to Shut Up and do something!

Excellent reaction once again, and well-appreciated. Dan chooses not to be on stage, for the most part (that's from statements I've read and also heard him say). When he's in his own studio and can sing his heart out (which he gives to us so freely), he's comfortable, plus he's not getting robbed while producing his own art. You can find videos on RU-vid where he has been a guest artist during concerts with different bands, but from the ones I've seen, the production of that music is very poor, and it seems to me that whoever is managing the mics when Dan gets introduced and handed one of the mics, they intentionally cut down his volume and bring up the volume of the instruments to a pitch where they were NOT, before he began to sing. Even at that, the crowds enjoy him being there, and he's always honored to be invited. I think he would probably do well in a live operatic setting, but...his own choices are his to make. Personally, I think it's great that we who do NOT get to attend the opera, because of where we live, or because we can't afford it, get the supreme privilege and blessing of being able to sit in front of our computers or TVs and bask in the beautiful tones of Dan Vasc, any time we choose, and for as long as we choose. Plus, then we get to hear wonderful reactors do the same, and share with you wonderful people, as well! Thank you for that privilege, sir! Thank you very much! 😀
Thank you for a nice reaction to one of my absolute favorites with Dan. He is THE most versatile singer i have EVER heard, and, like you, i LOVE the purity of his voice, even when he growls, screams, snarls, he does it with a purity i haven't heard from ANY other singer. But his operatic voice, from the deepest to the highest note in this song, is like warm rich melted dark chokolate.

Loved your smiles and comments. Reactors and subscribers have observed Dan would be fantastic on Broadway. Truer words were never spoken but Dan has left little doubt, even if there weren't possible Visa issues, that he wants the creative freedom and control to decide what, when, where, how and with whom he performs and not be contractually locked into a legally binding long-term commitment. VascNation is a growing world-wide audience generated through hard work, talent and collaboration with other artists. He has been busy doing 'his thing' lately and not frequent covers as before, but I surmise he will drop a new one from time to time, as he did with O Holy Night, because he truly appreciates his devoted and loyal channel fans. Also, re Broadway, have a hunch Dan would become bored and frustrated singing the same stuff night after night, week after week, away from home no less. Sorry this is so long. Three cups of coffee triggered jabber-jaw syndrome.
None of us can speak for Dan, but I think the same way! While I would live to see him live somewhere, the platform he has now gives him all the artistic freedom and saves his voice from the day to day grind of live performance schedules-- so I think of it as hearing Dan for years to come. 😊

❤ Dan does it better than anyone else... have heard many sing this. He puts more emotion into the song. His voice is richer, more full than the others.... Dan is just being discovered by many. Found him about 7 years ago. Went back watched his older videos... have watched him grow and mature... unfortunately, some of Brazil does not seem to appreciate Dan as we do. Some want him recording in Brazilian Portuguese and are unhappy he doesn't. But he reaches more people with english. His true love is metal... but as you have seen. He does an amazing job of singing many genres.... and making them better... Thank you for your reaction. And yes, you are headed down a rabbit hole... but the journey will be a Very Pleasant one. There were only 30 seconds in this whole video, where we couldn't see Mr. H's face. Plus, he doesn't stop the music and break up the song like so many others. He's doing a fabulous job, as far as I'm concerned.

If you aren't already convinced that he is Broadway worthy, that one will cement your opinion.
