Thanks! Not everything Dan does is metal. He can do real heavy metal or simply and beautifully cover any genre including folk songs (Scarborough Fair, Loch Lomond), opera (Nessun Dorma), or give us Broadway- worthy performances (Music of the Night, Gethsemane). His Amazing Grace is unbelievable. I think you would love Angels We Have Heard on High, sung in 4 languages and an "all Dan choir " made up of over 50 different recorded tracts. He even does all 4 parts of Handel's Hallelujah Chorus recording at a minimum 24 different Dans. I forget how many he had to do to get those 24 acceptable tracts. He is a creative genius who can do almost anything out of his garage studio. Enjoy!
I always love seeing people react to Dan for the very first time. Dan could sing the phone book and it would still be life changing. BTW, don't know if you actually realized it wasn't Dan on the guitar (some people don't notice that). The guitarist is Garrett J Peters and he deserves a shout out as well, as he also did an awesome job!

I can laugh, NOW, but when Dan posted his "Amazing Grace" (to which you definitely should react), on April 7, 2023, and I found it THROUGH a favorite reactor, I had never even, somehow, seen that that WAS a Dan Vasc on RU-vid! When I discovered how LONG he has been on RU-vid, I was totally blown away! 😀
Dan has an amazing way of adding just enough metal to elevate songs to new levels while still paying homage to the original. He always makes them better.

I think that people today simply have the urge to catalogue and classify everything unknown. Clichés are a good way to do this, whether they are true or not. I think heavy metal is highly structured. Metal exploits the possibilities of hard rock music. And Dan Vasc is a master of exactly that. And he can not only do metal, he can shine in every genre. I can really recommend every single song. Thanks very much for giving this is a try! Dan can sing harsh vocals if he wants to (he can sing just about anything, in any range and in any style), but he rarely does. He sings each song the way it should be sung, whether it's classical, folk, Broadway, ballad, Disney cartoon, Christmas, and of course tons of rock and heavy metal. If you're a Witcher fan, his "metalized" versions of the songs from the Netflix shows are brilliant, especially Burn Butcher Burn. Others have recommended The Music of the Night and/or Gethsemane for Broadway Dan - both are straight, stage-worthy performances. I'll add Dawn Over a New World for flat-out gorgeous singing, and The Last Goodbye, an achingly beautiful and emotional ballad. Trust us, you have no idea what Dan is capable of yet! Dan does, indeed, have his own band (FEARLESS). That band consists of his two-year-younger brother Davi, and their two childhood friends (from their families' church and school affiliations) Gabriel Belozi and Giovanni Rezende. In THIS video, however, you are not seeing any parts of their band. You may have noticed the black square at the bottom left corner of the video, which mentioned who the guitarist is, or you may have noticed that there is a list of the people participating in this video, in his Description. Sometimes, Dan will also PIN a comment with other information that will shed light on a part or parts of the videos he produces (on his own). If/when you are reacting to Dan's music those are KEY places to look, either before or just after you begin your reactions. Dan keeps us pretty well informed on those things. In his older videos that wasn't always the case, but now that he's been doing this for about 14 years, he also keeps up with what RU-vid expects in order to keep his videos from disappearing due to YT's vagaries. Back to the guitarist (who is only one, even though he appears as two, in several places). Garrett J. Peters is his name. He was born, raised, and still lives in Southern California. He has collaborated with Dan before (he runs his business online, and can be hired to do what he's done here -- get the arrangement and music from the singer, then play his part, or parts, then return his recorded efforts to the singer). You can check out his RU-vid channel, and his website for more information about his EXCELLENT work. As for the BAND, they presently have a single 12-track (original) album on all of the music venues. It's called "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom," and they are fantabulous! There are a few videos from that album on Dan's channel. Also, you can see them perform in a few more videos on the channel. One of them is "Dawn of Victory" (the later one...Dan did one some time back, then had the opportunity to upgrade it just a couple of years back). In that one, Fabio Lione (one of the two men who WROTE the song), got hold of Dan and asked if he could come and sing it with him in his (fairly new studio, that Dan had created for himself). Hi, Alex! I really enjoyed your reaction to Dan Vasc, and, am subbing in hope that you jump into his catalog of really great singing! Not all of Dans covers are metal, (or metalized). His non metal singing is truly outstanding, too! My personal favorits from Dan are, Tears of the Dragon, A Tale That Wasn't Right, Dawn of a New World, Son Of Pain, Sleeping Sun, and, i could go on! A playlist do canal dele é incrível e bem variada. Tem covers de Óperas como Nessun Dorma, baladas anos 70, 80, 90 ....Faz covers de banda como Nightwish e muito, muito mais. I liked your reactions. You should check out some other suggestions by Dan Vasc. As you heard, he has an incredible voice and it's very powerful. He is the number one singer on RU-vid with about 250 covers and almost one MILLION subscribers. He sings all genres.

It could change, by midnight, to at least 996K (I'm in Central Daylight Time), but at this point, I've marked it as the same as yesterday, at 995K. Even with it being the same today, at this point, we're looking at May 5 as THE BIG DAY! So exciting! If any of you have more than one channel, like I do (I have three: my personal one, just for commenting, my Grandma's Gone Gaming one, and this one), it's absolutely OK to subscribe with all the channels you own. All three of mine are subscribed to Dan.
