He also has extensive training in contemporary techniques, so he can basically sing anything. You're not the first to say that watching Dan is like getting a singing lesson! And his energy and range and breath control are phenomenal. Among my many favorites of his are these songs that he 'metalizes." Burn Butcher Burn, also from the Witcher series, is even better than this one - an absolutely fabulous singing and acting performance. Thanks for your thoughtful and insightful analysis. Thanks for your great reaction to this song by Dan Vasc. He is a gamer and loved the 1st season of the Witcher. I think he made this video after watching the first 2 episodes. He said he could hear the metal version in his head and knew he had to hurry and make this before anyone else beat him to it. And it really made his subscribers shoot up and from then his channel has seen tremendous growth. Pretty smart, as well as talented, to make that happen. You really must react to his cover of the Celine Dion (Titanic) song, My Heart Will Go On. He reimagined the beautiful, but sad ballad, into a powerful anthem. It will blow you away. So, cool nerd trivia about Dan. He got to sing on Sir Christopher Lee's 2nd Rock Opera about Charlemagne. Of whom, Sir Christopher was a direct descendant.
For me, Dan Vasc is the best metal singer with a fantastic variety of voices, technique and expressiveness in every single song. His voice is unique and he always captivates you. It's also worth listening to the other Witcher cover songs. Each one is better than the last. One of my absolute favorite songs is an homage to Queen with the song "Bohemian Rhapsody"...... World class ♥️🤘

Like you, I was brought into the Dan Vasc "web" by his Amazing Grace last year, but only later did I really started chkg out his other songs. I had never heard of the Witcher Series on Netflix nor of the game since I don't watch Netflix, nor am I a gamer. After hearing 1 of Dan's songs & reading comments, I pulled up the original version of each one and watched some videos of the show for reference on the characters. That's when it impressed me even more because of how he had transformed those songs into such amazing versions. I saw an interview with the guy who wrote this song & sang it as the Bard character (Jaskier) in the series and was surprised when he (Joey Batey) said he hated this particular song. He needs to hear Dan's version. Lol. Dan has done this song and a couple of others from the Witcher series. The other songs are: Song of the White Wolf and Burn Butcher Burn. Both are awesome. In addition, Dan did two versions of Priscilla's Song (Wolven Storm) from the game which is sung by a female in the game. One version is a metal adaptation and the other is closer to the original except for being by a male vocalist. Both of them are great for different reasons.

It is a game and a Netflix series. The Witcher is really worth watching. According to Dan Vasc, The Pitcher 3 is one of the best games. I have watched the Witcher series multiplevtimes.
I have often wondered if Dan's clear enunciation is a result of him not just learning English, but his training in so many different singing styles, especially opera, which requires a particular way of using ones mouth, and breathing techniques (hope that makes sense!). Great reaction 🇦🇺💜
The Witcher games and tv shows originate in a series of books by Polish author Andrejz Sapkowski. Been subscribed to Dan for a good 6 years or more, he was the only one doing proper covers of Manowar back then!
