Burgerphile is now closed all because the government wants to control us by having us wear face masks and prevent us from eating burgers. Elise: Dan, there’s a worldwide pandemic. Thousands of people are dying, all because people like you are too careless to wear a piece of cloth over your face for 20 minutes. Chris: it does suck that BurgerPhile is now closed. Elise: Chris!!! Chris: I’m sorry, I really liked their burgers. Dan: Do you even understand what’s happening at all! Burgerphile is now closed and I want to figure out how I could destroy this virus once and for all. Elise: Ugh, Dan you can’t do anything at the moment. All you can do is quarantine yourself and wait for there to be a vaccine. Dan: I can’t do that! That will take forever. There must be a way to eliminate COVID-19 and get Burgerphile back without having to wait multiple years for it to open up again. Chris: Well have you thought about just going through the drive thru and eating in the car. Dan: Chris, you know I hate ordering through the drive thru ever since that stupid manager decided to put cheese on my burger. Dan: Anyway, we need to figure out exactly how the Coronavirus got Burgerphile shut down so then I could exact my revenge. Elise look up any clues as to how exactly Burgerphile got shut down. Elise: hmmm, it seems that the Burgerphile in LA had to be shut down due to the owner refusing to enforce face mask rules to their customers, it ended up becoming a COVID hot spot hence the CDC having to shut it down to prevent the virus from spreading. Dan: Okay, is there anyway we can destroy Coronavirus for good so then I could enjoy eating burgers again. Elise: I’m not sure, I can keep looking but... Dan: Wait Wait! go here go here (points to some conspiratorial article titled “How the government is profiting off of COVID”) Dan: “There have been multiple evidences that the company BioTech is working with the government and profiting off of the pandemic and keeping the vaccine from us until their pockets are filled to the brim with cash.” Dan: AHA! I knew they were hiding something. Come on Chris we have an organization to infiltrate. Chris: Do we have to, I mean the CDC says that we should be quarantining ourselves until everyone gets vaccinated. Dan: Yes Chris, it’s the only way we can get Burgerphile opened up again now come on. Chris: (deep sigh) okay.

If the first episode is Dan Vs Retail then I would not only support this revival, I will donate a large portion of my paycheck to this show. I've been in retail the past 5 years. 5 Looooong Years!!!! And everything you said about retail during the holidays, the managers, breaks and lunches is true. They do get mad if you're a few minutes late from your lunch. Hell they tried to make me take a half hour lunch because they were short staffed but I told them no cause they're required to give 1 hour lunches and only half hour lunches if I agree to it and work 5 hours or less which I don't.

Also that episode was one of the few where Dan actually had the upper hand the entire time especially once he started the strategy of chaining himself to the cash register and Jeff the egotistical jerk of a general manager who was the episode's villain thought he could bluff Dan into giving up with the first attempt being him stating that Dan would lose by starving to death and our "villain protagonist" manages to counter him by stating "First you do realize it takes several days to possibly a week for a person to die via starvation, and 2nd even if I die I'm pretty sure I still win as my chained-up, rotten, emaciated corpse would ruin business by turning away customers." and then when Jeff once again tried to bluff Dan into giving up by stating Dan will give up due and give into him via hunger Dan once again perfectly counters Jeff by stating "You clearly don't know me very well do you."

Also Hortance was a really sweet lady.

Best part of that episode was Dan especially once he started the sit-in strategy held the advantage the entire time I mean he countered both of Jeff's threats/bluffs into giving up first by accurately stating how long it would take for him to die via starvation, and how even in death he still beats Jeff due to his as he put it "rotten, chained-up, emaciated corpse" ruining business via scaring off customers, and then by telling Jeff "You don't know me very well do you".

Eh, it might lose some of its charm if it gets revived on Adult Swim, though.

Noooooooo mate. Dan was a "barking malcontent" who always felt wronged and would go on campaigns to get revenge on said wrong-doers in over the top insane means of doing so. Some of his enemies including but not limited to: The beach, New Mexico, a "Ye Olde Shakespeare Dinner Theater," The "Salvation Armed Forces" (Salvation Army), and more...and he always won. Dan is at least twenty times more likeable than Karens. At least Dan's being a jerk for comical reasons. Karens are just pains in the ass.
