@@Sebastian-yx8oy Because Dana implied that Riddle won't go anywhere else and get the kind of money the UFC had to offer him, but now Matt is a pro wrestler at the biggest pro wrestling company in the world and has potential to make even more money and become a bigger star in the future.

Robert Loya Human growth hormones, some steroid and stuff that women take if they become infertile or something. His shit must have been smelly! poooo weeee.
Dana bashes Marijuana and failed drug tests. Yet lets his roster Juice up on performance enhancing steroids, still lets them compete, win and there is no real deterrent/punishment. No lost prize money etc. Fucking bollocks! Poor Mark Hunt has just had to fight 3 guys in a row who all came up positive for steroids after the fight..
That's why they brought in USDA it's way stricter and everybody is getting popped left and right. Get your information right before commenting next time man.
Chase Hickson The fight was only the other week. So it must be recent. "Get your information right before commenting next time man.". Does not change the facts of my statement. Mark Hunt got beat by a juiced Brock. Did Brock lose any money from his purse.. No!.. Did he still get the winners cut and more than hunt.. Yes. Could it have been avoided.. Yes. Has it took extreme pressure, multiple incidents and media attention for them to finally do something about the rampant steroid abuse in UFC.. Yes. They have been all over marijuana for years now. So yeah my statement is still valid. Its taken them how long to get it sorted. What date did USADA start working with the UFC? Before the Brock vs Hunt fight or after? Is marijuana punished more than steroids.. Yes. As i said its all a load of bollocks.
KBR ACKEN I agree to an extinct I don't think Dana has anything to do with it but I could be wrong. You should get a medal for not getting all pissed off like most RU-vid and just engaging in the conversation.
Chase Hickson Yeah you could be right. I don't know if it is down to Dana himself or not. It is a big organisation with many influences etc. And thank you. I try to at least. And when you do get chance to converse with people properly on RU-vid, there is always chance of learning from the other person. Shame most people aren't lie this on here. I wish you all the best ;)
UFC is not the only MMA or jiu-jitsu promotion, there are some big ones and some small ones - you might have heard of Pride for example, but not heard of a local promotion near where I live, you know? Within roughly two years, Matt Riddle's wrestling accomplishments have been bigger than what most wrestlers accomplish in 10-15 years. With WWE being so interested in the independent wrestling scene and with wrestling taking more MMA influence - AND with Ronda Rousey appearing on Wrestlemania a year or so ago - it's not a huge claim to say Matt might end up there soon enough. He might end up in a company bigger than UFC, and then Dana will feel like even more of an idiot.
Lol dudes not John cena calm down. I don’t think you understand how wwe salaries work. Unless your John cena or AJ styles or randy Orton you ain’t coming anywhere near a million salary.

Absolute lie by Dana here saying Riddle was making 152k a year. He realizes the Athletic Commission releases their salaries right? At UFC 143, which was in 2012, Riddle was paid 15k to show and 15k for winning. So if he didn't fight at all that year, but was paid for 3 fight shows, he would have made 45k. Even if you tack on his win bonuses, which I'm guessing the UFC doesn't do, it doesn't come close to 152k a year.
if marijuana is illegal so should be alcohol. It has nothing to do with performance. and lets be honest here, when you say marijuana is a drug, put a "*" after the word drug.
Marijuana is a drug, it's an addictive substance and if it wasn't then Riddle could have gone 3/12 months a year without it in order to pass a drug test. Not to mention if it wasn't a drug, he wouldn't be such a fiend that his dependency on the substance causes him to lash out against his family.
silentc22 he said he smoked because he doesn’t do drugs you know pills. And he never did anything to hurt his family he’s sayin pills have effects that make you lash out. Your reason for it being a drug you sound dumb
@Walt Clyde Hes making more than that lol a developmental Contract Starts with 250k in The WWE lol what are you stupid even a jobber in the WWE makes more than what Riddle was making in the UFC.
Saying that "you only have to go to work 3 times a year" - is totally ridiculous, and shows how far removed he is from the athletes. Even a mediocre mma fighter is forced to train 6-7 days a week in order to be able to compete in those 3 fights a year, so it's a lot misleading that he propagates the idea that being a fighter in the UFC only requires you to 'go to work 3 times a year'. With a multitude of corporate sponsorships, PPV, TV, gate revenue, and especially FoxSports being involved, Dana and Zuffa are raking in a phenomenal amount of royalties vastly inproportionate to what they pay the fighters. No matter that Matt's communication skills are sophmoric, Zuffa is raping these guys who are forced to train and prepare like no other sport in the world. The amount of effort required to even be on half of the level of a Matt Riddle is seriously unrecognized, and it's a shame that he and most top level mma fighters, with their short-lived careers and serious injury risks, are not compensated more comparatively with the amount of revenue they actually generate for Zuffa.
He doesn't get paid to train. In most other jobs you have to go to school get good grades, go to university, get a degree and all this other stuff. You don't need to do any of this in mma, just a few months of training before every fight.
Alex Mallinson The point is that Dana is insuating that they are paid enormous sums of money just to "go to work 3 times a year". To say that in mma, it's an easy deal because you are not required to have 4 years of schooling, is absolutely assinine. I will guarantee you, the average UFC fighter puts in more hours of work and preparation in 1 year, than a college student has to in all 4 years of his 'training' (i.e., schooling). And in other jobs, when you do go to school and get that degree, you usually are compensated with a salary commensurate with the effort that it took to get that job. Furthermore, in a normal job, you are not putting your entire career at risk everytime you step into the office. Most regular jobs also have a longevity of more than 5 years. The only reason Zuffa and Dana rake in the cash from sponsors like Zuffa, Fox, Fuel, FX, Pay Per View, Xyience, Rockstar, Budlight, SEC, Dodge, MetroPCS, US Marines, EA, Tapout, UbiSoft, MusclePharm, and Harley Davidson is because they have fighters who do train 7 days a week. How successful would the UFC be if they had fighters who literally only went to their 3 fights a year and didn't train for it? The training improves the product that the UFC sells and provides Zuffa with the ability to make the revenue that they do.
lastuvthe But even if he doesn't fight 3 times a year he gets paid. You do jobs like this because you love it. The majority of the fighters aren't complaining...
lastuvthe Dana meant that he would have only been drug tested 3 times at most a year when he showed up to "work" Obviously he knows they train fulltime, stop letting your jealousy/hatred for DW twist his words
And then the company who owns UFC buys WWE …Riddle gets cut and they say “he got too many chances” sound familiar??… if anyone wanna know .. this is my opinion on why Riddle was cut from WWE shortly after the takeover was complete.. Dana white pulled some strings the too many chances is too coincidental
He got suspended months ago for the same thing Dana was talking about. This was BEFORE we even heard the idea of merging. It was right after Randy Orton was injured
2:38 lmao, I think he found the job, lol. He is a millionaire from WWE and he doesnt have to be punched and kicked until he drools on himself. Riddle made the best decision of his life by leaving the UFC and joining wwe
Best bit is Chael ending with "..that's something you don't see here, we always give both sides of the story" after closing interview showing ONE SIDE, Dans's side only. Yes you get both sides, the official UFC PR position and the CEO's slanderous rant side.

***** Out of competition is considered more than 12 hours before a fight. The same rules apply to everyone no matter how stupid it is. only idiots can't stay clean 12 hours before their fight. They defamed him by testing for a drug they shouldn't have at that time. People don't get charged for cocaine in their system dummy, the charge is possession.
lonewolf9202 to be fair weed stays in your system for 30+ days and hard drugs and alcohol only stays for 3 days(our bodies reject poison). Increasing the amount of thc metabolites allowed helped but it still seems as though some Athletic commissions that aren't as lenient as Nevada could have a fighter who used a month prior to in competition testing and still test positive and get fined and whatever else. They need to monitor the metabolite levels from in and out of competition testing to see whether the levels have increased or decreased determining if they used after their out of competition testing. I don't know the logistics of how the testing is so maybe this wouldn't work.
