Difference is Conor came from NOTHING. An unemployed plumber. Meanwhile, Brady goes to U of M, comes from great, supportive parents, grew up in Southern California. People that get rich when coming from nothing cannot manage their ego or finances. Brady had the luxury of love and support so money wasn’t everything.

Regardless of how crazy he is now, he was so important to changing MMA pay for the better, from the way fighters are paid per main events, to more spectacle dream match-ups, fighters getting more side deals in movies, and commercials, and appearance fees, plus what he's done for boxers getting more crossover fight money. People fill UFC events in person exponentially more than before Conor came into the game too.

A combat sport for 20 years, fought other hall of fame fighter regularly into his late 30s already with loads of money, tougher competition than Canelo fought. I wonder how these people, who are supposedly well versed in the universe of sports, get away with comparing combat sports to any sport that envolves balls. Waking up at 2 am to do cardio to prepare for a fight is different from waking up at 2 am to do cardio to prepare for a football match are VERY different

Brady was in a team sport. Conor was an individual. The guys ppv numbers are insane. Thing is Brady was the best ever whereas peahead and the rat had better fighting legacies than him in the end.

People talk about Connor not coming back because of all the money he’s made, but to me that isn’t an excuse when all the richest football, basketball, soccer, boxing athletes have had that kind of money for years but yet they’re still putting in all the hard work and time to continue to be the best. If he wants to be considered one of the goats he needs to be a little more active

I agree with Dana. Connor is so box office. He was Ali level. He deserves whatever he gets. A legend in the game and he revolutionized the sport NO DOUBT.

Dana should start every sentence about Conor with "I love him so much, he deserves the world". He made them more money than anybody. He made them more money than the next 10 big names combined.
