Weidman got legally knee'd in the head, he went down. If he could've continued he would've got back up in the 5 minute stoppage. I'm not accusing Weidman of cheating but of course he is going to say he was fine and could continue when clearly he was hurt and the stoppage should stick. Mousasi lifted him up and knee'd him and stopped him. Simple

Cormier has been quite annoying more than a couple of times, but for today he defended his title very well and deserves a break from the hate, as for the p4p he should be if he defeats Jones or if Jones doesn't come back at all

It's not only the casual fans that hate DC. In his fight against Anderson Silva, DC played it completely safe and took absolutely no risks. Sure, he's entitled to do that but it's not going to make him popular with the fans. Also, all the hardcore fans know he isn't the true champ. Jones broke DC at UFC 182, and Jones is the P4P Number One. No one is going to get behind a champ who isn't truly the best in his division.

Its crazy to see what the UFC has become. I remember being a 16 yr old kid that went crazy the first time i came across ufc back when they had their first event ever. back when there were no weight classes just 2 dudes going at it. and i was so amazed how royce grace was able to dominate. And to be with ufc from its very start and to watch the evolution to what it has become today is pretty awesome. just a random thought. carry on

The light heavy division sure seems like its lacking depth and the top 5 have lost to jones Cormier or Johnson and with Johnson retiring it's sad because I felt the top 3 were in the p4p consideration knowing they lost to each other.

Just my UFC conspiracy theory: I believe since AJ knew he was going to retire after this fight that he just completely played with DC's strength to ensure DC wins because if AJ won the fight he knows he would've had to continue fighting to defend the belt and judging by his post fight interview he didn't even sound like he wanted to train anymore at all. On bjpenn.com they actually show his corner telling him not to wrestle him and that they were confused as to why hes wrestling him. I think thats also why his coaches werent there when AJ was looking for them, They knew he threw the fight and just left.

Anthony Johnson has too much integrity to throw the fight.. I think he was attempting to follow the only blueprint there is to beat DC... that is Jon Jones example... it just didn't work this time... anyhow much respect for both of them (DC and Mr. Johnson ).

I think Jones kills him whatever he does. He's 38 and severely mentally undermined with respect to Bones. Jon literally has a 38 acre fenced estate in Cormier's head. He rebukes Jone's character to compensate, in his own mind, for their skill, and ultimately, fight discrepancy. DC needs an out. Too old, too slow, and too weak,

Rumble is all power and all toughness, no smarts, no skill. He tried to throw a head kick in clinch range lol. He always throws punches off balance and falls forward. He's like the Running Back who could be great but always fumbles the ball at the goal line.
