Yeah man, these are people who are supposed to have your back. This is a huge moment of Rumble's life, he's ending his MMA career and the worst thing is being alone while announcing that. He needed the support of his coaches for that..
Yeah it really does. I understand they were pissed that he didn't follow the gameplan but at the end of the day, they look like dicks and they're going to feel pretty guilty the next day.
They're the type of people not to show up at his funeral or memorial too. They can go F themselves henry hooft an whoever the other goofs were who didn't have his back on his final moments in the octagon
Rest In Peace brotha. You were not only a great fighter of your sport, you were a great person in general. Always loved this speech. Prayers to you and your family
💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔😩 May Allah reunite him with his family and loved ones in the Akhirah, inshaAllah❤️ _"Inna Lilahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un"_ [2:156]❤️ _"Verily unto God we belong and verily, unto Him is our return"_ [2:156]❤️
Came back here after the news broke of his passing. Dude was a beast inside the cage and has my upmost respect. The all-time heaviest hitter at 205. RIP Anthony, you'll be missed...
Jacky Bars you don't know what you're talking about, coaches, in this sport, are like your family, brothers till the end, and they basically spat in his face. Win or lose, you don't do that to your fighter
He gave up in that fight and his coaches knew it. Rumble is a quitter man, if the guy can't put you away he quits McGregor style. Embarrassing honestly for such a great fighter, but I would have left if I were his coaches too.
@@kevinramsdell1433 Understandable But what a scumbag thing to do. You spend all day everyday with this guy if ur his coach, there supposed to be like family? The fact his coaches watched there student take an asswhooping and walk away makes me think they were only in it for the money.
Bro you just told me…im legit in tears rn I’ve been a hardcore fan of this man since I can remember and to find out he’s passed away it broke my heart. We don’t have much time here y’all. I love you all and I’m not just sayin it I really do.
@@zezeison don’t do that. I’m commanded to love all and I’m obedient. How can I help you cause you’re clearly in need of some help? Who hurt you Jesus I hope it gets better if you wanna give me your name I’ll pray for you…after this message I’m out of Christian so please choose your words wisely….
forcedentry2010 And don't get me wrong Mcgregor has been a great fighter and all, you know what is the problem in the MMA community in the internet nowadays? Khabib and Mcgregor fans and I'm not talking about the old fans I'm talking about the bandwagons who are Khabib fans after he beat Mcgregor and Mcgregor fans who talk about him like if he is the best in the world
My heart dropped when he ask where were his coaches. Johnson is at the moment the best MMA fighter at Blackzillans and for them to leave him like that is disloyalty. I don't care how frustrated you are that's no excuse to walk off because he lost.
MVP MVP he fixed the fight they saw it he didn't listen to shit his coaches said they knew he quit on purpose you don't know what it's like being a coach
Donovan Hunt I do know what it's like to coach some one that doesn't listen. It's like speaking to a brick wall, but at the end of the day if his coaches truly cared they would not leave him alone like that in front of thousands. At the end of the day Johnson made a choice and acted the way he did because of something deeper than just wanting to wrestle and make it a "fixed" fight. Regardless of what's being said I believe the smoke hasn't been cleared yet of why he decided to do what he did. There's coaches that will be with there fighter's through thick and thin and there will be some that are in it solely for the money and promoting themselves. Johnson and Rashad are a staple of that gym and should be respected as such.
First Last He fought to lose? He broke DC's nose in the beginning exchanges. He's a coward? How about you have a former Strikeforce Heavyweight, Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and Olympic Wrestler on your back and see how it goes. Johnson probably came in with the mindset that he wanted to try things in the cage that he may have the last opportunities doing. Maybe he did want a free check. At the end of the day it's Johnson's life and all of the pussies out there calling him a coward are just unconfident losers who hope to get paid half a million in 7 minutes. I'm sure he could care less about somebody he doesn't even know.
@nota russianspy all God's. But I personally find the Christianity one worse. Islam mainly affects Islamic states. But people have killed in the name of God everywhere!!!
During the post-fight conference they asked D.C if he was surprised by Rumble's wrestling. They mention during the first round, Rumble's coaches were really mad and yelling all sorts of stuff to Rumble to stop. Then, they said in the second round they gave up and were all quiet. Now, during Rumble's retirement speech they seemed to ditch him. Sad. Feel bad for Anthony.
Yeah they ditched him rightfully so. That was the most pussy move ever considering it was his 'last fight' at that. After all the talking. It's not even about the loss. That doesnt matter. Its the fact that the man practically bent over and gave his ass to DC willingly like a bitch. This guy was defeated before the fight even started, piss poor. His coaches did right, their reputations are on the line too
Emmanuel Delgadillo Antony Johnson wrestle DC because the fight was fixed by the Las Vegas casino mafia boys and that's the reason that Antony Johnson retired. Dana don't delete my comment.
He then came out of retirement, and won his last fight by knockout. He went on to start his own business and become head of talent relations for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. He then unfortunately passed away to cancer in 2022. RIP King. Absolute legend. My heart goes out to you.
RIP to a legend, sending all my prayers to his loved ones. He gave us countless great moments inside that octagon and was a true warrior, this shit is crazy Rest In Power Rumble!
He never won the UFC champion title, but he won something more important, the whole world respect. A legend that dropped bombs and nobody could knock out. Thanks for all, Rumble.
This is one of the realest shit I ever seen in sports. I shed a few tears man. What a respectable man. Fuck his coaches for ditching him like that. #GoRumble
Your comment makes no sense. I'm gonna presume you're on the low IQ spectrum, so I will break it down for you. I didn't blame anyone. I said Fuck his coaches.
Why do I want to cry? Bye Rumble:( thank you so much for everything. I love you too Rumble. We all do, stay safe. All real UFC fans will miss you so much. Bones vs Rumble would've been great. Thank you so much for all that you've done, wish you so much success and happiness AJ
What a warrior in and out of the cage, rest in peace champ, we enjoyed you rumble, you will be extremely missed, thoughts to you’re family and friends brother💔
Sorry to add to the bad news but there are currently 4. U.S vessels heading to Korean Peninsula with unknown intention so you might not wake up tomorrow
OriGinal Bosnian I've been watching mma much, much longer than you Nate-Conor bandwagoner. I saw Fedor fight live twice in Japan while you were making sneakers for pennies in Bosnia.
Yo this is literally the saddest post fight interview I've ever seen, just the look of unawareness in Rumble's face when he was looking for his team and didn't realise that they ditched him is enough to break a grown mans heart. Peace and love Rumble I hope you enjoy retirement and thank you for all the years you put in
BMW ///M Power he is too nice. You need a conor or nate personality to do this sport. Anthony skill and natural talent is on par with jon jones but he just didn't want to do it anymore even in his prime
I’ve seen this video at least 20 times. I came back here after learning of his death. Makes my heart heart. I feel like I lost family and I don’t even know him. Rip Rumble gone to young.
And he even gave the proper shout out to Goldberg that the UFC didn't even do! This really is the sign of a Humble Rumble Johnson... damn man that hurt
Never abandon your fighter. That feeling of them not being there in that last moment is pretty much makes everything good they did for him not matter anymore. That is an ultimate betrayal. All love Rumble miss your fights bro.
@@aShamelessHigh yeah they did, but you gotta understand.. even tho i don’t understand. Henry Hooft is a legend coach in this game and to this day idk why they abandoned him
Well I mean you have to look at it from the fans POV too. You have this quitter that didn't want to be there wasting their time and throwing the fight to just come out of nowhere with "I love you" shit. It's bizarre.
He said he didn't lose game for the fight at all despite wanting to retire, but I don't believe that. He might have thought that, but if you're going into a fight knowing you're going to retire whether you win or lose, you're not going to perform optimally.
Gotta be honest, i've never really been a fan of him but this is heartbreaking and the fact his coaches didn't even come to the octagon makes it even more sad😔💔
It's shitty situation. Anthony threw the fight, which pissed off the Coaches for working and training him so hard to beat DC. Seeing your fighter fully give up during a title fight must be one of the worst feelings as a coach..
Hardo Wider No evidence he threw the fight just because he fought stupid. I think he maybe just didn’t want to get hit. He was hoping he could ground and pound DC, which obviously was a terrible idea. Or maybe DC just drew him into the wrestling game. Like Cruz said, maybe DC made it too easy for Anthony to take him down so he could draw him into that world. IDK, it doesn’t make sense, but that doesn’t mean he threw it.
rumble coaches are like those close friends that everybody have, when you get on a fight or problem they are the first to run and don't even look back.
What a shitty night, Cote retired, Gonzalez lost, Gegard and Weidman got fuck by the referee and Rumble did the amazing gameplan i've seen and he retires after that... omg can believe he did that, this is number one bullshit.
"Rumble did the amazing gameplan" What give up. He didn't even touch DC gloves during the choke. DC just gabbed his head and slipped it in. Glad I didn't pay for this PPV.
Pedro Adrian Garabito I couldn't agree with you more. These last two ppv main events have just been completely terrible in my opinion, but the co main event just made it even worse. Gonna think twice before wasting my money again.

(Johnson submits to Cormier via rear-naked choke) Hooft: Why, why the (expletive) does this happen every (expletive) time, man? Crazy.
TNF I think he thought that wrestling was all he needed it to win for the rematch, however, Dc was also training hard to counter anything thst rumble would throw at him....Im not surprised the fight ended in the same way....Jon Jones better watch out, this D.C. is 38, but he has improved and has been a little more active thsn Jones.....
Never watched him fight but the attitude and the respect from this Legend I wish i watched him cause he is a true gentleman true sportsmanship nothing but love and respect for you Anthony R.I.P Legend u be missed 🫡
Rest In Peace legend ❤️🙏,so heartbreaking ,few days ago I watched a tons of video of his knockouts for no reason, what a Legend, prayer to him and his family ❤️🙏
Jeb Kush I stormed in and put it all on the line. I took a shot. And missed. I will never apologize for taking a shot. Shit happens. I will take the loss like a man. I will not shy away from it.
I tuned in to every fight this man fought win or lose because ufc or pfl. Ive watched him fight from his ufc debut in 07 when he fought chad reiner. Such a humble human being and exceptional fighter. Rest in love brother!
Here’s what happened. Anthony Johnson KNEW he was retiring after this fight. Win or lose. Well, maybe if he won and he got offered ALOT of money he would have stayed but I don’t know if he would have stayed. He had the marijuana business going for him and he knew he could make a lot of money and not have to fight. In his octagon interview he literally said he never liked fighting and getting hurt. He was just good at it. One of his coaches walked out of the octagon after the fight because he even knew that AJ gave up the fight. Sucks but it’s the truth. It would have been great to see AJ keep the fight on the feet but he just wanted to get out of there.
@erikcarrillo33 They must have been frustrated he completely ignored their advice. They invested a lot of their time and resources to him and for him to just kind of throw it away and give in like that would make me mad too. If he wasn't going to give it his all and was looking to give in during the second round he probably should have told his coaches ahead of time so they weren't blindsided.
Colorationz he also paid them for their “investment” if anything he invested in the coaches. He didn’t have to drive or want to do it anymore they should still show some respect
