You look a lot like a close high school homie of mine. That’s how I first clicked on your videos 😂 I’m a huge fan now and watch all your videos, Saludos 🤙🏽
Today was my 31st birthday. I'm about to go to bed and just had a normal work day but reading this many other people comment how they can't stand Andrew and his over the top, pompous, egotistical, wanna be intellectual, attention whore of person dreaming he could be a cult of personality leader... Was like blowing out a birthday candle I never got to blow out. Goodnight everyone. F*ck the industry.
Every time you see a snip of this podcast you wanna go…. Dude… just calm tf down. It’s ok to not be the center of attention or a cackling hyena for 15 seconds.
I mean it was split like 50/50 between people who thought it was real and fake, I just assumed it was real cause Howie fucking sucks and I could imagine being pissed to be on his show
@bellingdog I had to look it up but there was a contingent of French airmen trained in the u.s. in 1943 and flew p47s in the liberation of France and the further war in Europe. Who knew
Dumb people who think they're smart are some of my favorite people. I can't listen to Schulz, but when someone is notably dumb while considering themselves a teacher to others it's almost always hilarious in hindsight. Can be brutal to go through too of course
Bro you’re trippin. It was totally believable. Howie mentioned Dana’s wife awkwardly, then proceeds to stroke his bald eagle ego SO effing hard it made ME shrink in my chair. “… you’re an amazing businessman. You’re a philosopher, the way you do business, the way you run your business…”WTF?? 100% believable ANYBODY would walk out.
He just says stuff as it appears in his brain in real time, it’s as if he communicates with legit no thought process it’s fascinating And he knows his ~epiphanies~ are so uncalculated that if he doesn’t blurt them out in the next 15 sec he won’t even remember what he was going for It’s also an insight in to how rarely his brain is functioning, he must have 20% of normal human thoughts and reactions but he broadcasts 100% of them
Dana’s walk off sold me. I was so confused w him showing up to other pods after that , that I assumed he just used “so tired of podcasts” because of how much he hated Howie.
yuhp... once i saw the bad friends podcast script leak i checked out of every podcast, that compounded by the fact that joke writers exist and are used by everyone... makes you wonder what comedy actually is and if it's always been like this
I think the storm off was totally believable, the first time I saw it I bought it. But then the idea if Dana really was so sick of it that he would storm off a show, allow them to air this, post it for clout, or it was an inside joke they planned. Them having this idea and doing it sounds so much more likely to me that's what I saw it as. I think it is one of the few things Howie has done that is funny intentionally.
I still think it was real. It wouldn’t make sense to do that stunt. It only hurt Howie Mandel podcast. It made him look like a fake kiss ass when he said “you’re a great philosopher.” I also think it’s BS because it took him 3 months to finally tell everyone . Nothing made sense if it was planned.
This was restarted take. Tom segura and the shirtless man not only could have gotten help from their endless rolodex of comedian/writer friends but the whole point of the writing staff at these roasts is to do exactly that. They phoned it in, it was like a cheap dumb and dumber gimmick and it missed the mark by several miles…. Idk why ur assuming they came in late and “took over the staff” there wasn’t anything in this to suggest that.
You’ve got to take people a little bit less seriously, expecting Dana to say “you know, comedy is difficult but if you put in the work you can get good like he’s some comedy veteran. Why would he say that, he’s done 1/2 sets, comedians can be bad for years, in some ways it is tough but of course if you want to be pedantic it’s no more difficult than being on the frontline or flying a rocket to space. 😂
Howie Mandel is weird and just absolutely sucks at any form of conversation.. the situation made sense but whatever.. doesn’t matter, Dana is a lying salesman so.. it all fits I guess.
Yeah Dana's already funnier than the majority of comedians anyways, albeit largely unintentionally. He's way more comfortable in the spotlight and talking to crowds than the average joe
@@comedyenforcement I hear that, he can speak publicly, but to make people laugh is a different beast… especially when surrounded by some S-tier talent… you don’t think so?
I used to really dig Flagrant till the host just overhyped n tookoever every conversation to the point of really irritatating me...He needs to tone it down na notch!
I don't know how much MMA and UFC news you follow, but this is how dana white does business. He manages the media to the point where they are just a PR arm of the UFC, and they get castigated if they go off script. He gets credentials pulled and he'll blackball people that don't follow his orders. He probably reviewed talking points and let flagrant know what they could and couldn't talk about. What these things usually amount to is the host of the podcast or news outlet blowing smoke up white's a$$ and you never get any real info or breaking news out of white that he doesn't want you or the public to know. What these things amount to is paid advertising for the UFC and nothing more.
I love that Dana White describes Jimmy Carr as “dude from England - funny motherfucker” It’s the shortest, most accurate description of Jimbo I’ve ever heard 😂😂
Just cos Dana said stand up is the hardest thing ever doesn’t mean it’s the toughest. I play rugby and I’d rather get dropped on my head than have the courage to do stand up.
It was more like an interview than a Podcast..? Yeah. What else should it be? What Do you want Schultz of All people to discuss with a guy like Dana White for 2 hours?
Andrew Schulz: yea, yea, yea, yea. How tf does he have a podcast. Akaash is really the dude with talent on that podcast and I feel like Andrew is starting to feel his presence and how big he’s getting, and he doesn’t like it
Omg I have been telling people non stop since that day, that this was the most obvious bit EVER. The instant tell was that everyone was dead quiet when he walked out, and then they IMMEDIATELY start the podcast without mentioning it like it never happened. People are soooo dumb. So gullible. Thank god they told people the truth.
Knowing people is one of the biggest keys to huge success. Dana white knew the right people when he needed to know someone. He made the right moves at the right time.
'Stay ready so you don't have to get ready' Tom and especially Bert never stay ready, Berts never been ready, Berts never written a joke he just lies about situations until its funny I have no idea how they thought they could write an SNL type presentation
When it comes to the Brady roast the people who were getting material from the ROAST WRITERS was the people who weren't comedians. People like Bert,Tom, Tony, Nikki, weren't getting their material from the ROAST WRITERS . The people using the writers were like Dana said (Brady,Gronk, Edelman,Kim K, Bill belichek ,& the people who just weren't comedians
Appreciate the content!! The one part where Dana White speaks on stand-up being so scary is because he was helped so much and realized he was set up for easy laughs and he STILL was scared. The difference betwen professional combat and stand up comedy is the fear of dying or physical danger. One, more physical fear, the other, emotional. And both share the fear of being "exposed," or helplessly attacked on stage, with a crowd watching and knowing they can either quit and walk away or endure until its over. One way or the other.
Power slap is not a massive sport lol people watch the shorts because who doesn't wanna see somebody get slapped so hard they fall but nobody actually sits down and will pay to watch a full 2 to 3 hour slap pay per view
18:19 Work hard! And be friend's with two billionaire brother's who inherited a casino empire from their father and help you buy the UFC! And hard work!
Good catch, with the thought around bert and tom not having any help from friends or collogues, and had to rely on netflix roasters, and if you just say it out loud "netflix roasters" you can come to the conclusion that no help, would be a better choice. PS: Can you please make a video on how Kill Tony has completely sold out and gone from a comedy show FOR comedians, both edgy and newbies, to being a modern circus. Every second comedian is NOT a bucket pull, if you go back to the old episodes, there would 10-15 comedians on, per episode. (Edit: Afterthought; it almost feels like tony is making himself an empire of comedians, not out of the good, but to have them always talk good if him, for making them their careers and millions of dollars, like Hans is making. Legacy is important to tony, and he is very high iq. I smell a sociopath in him) I've been watching since episode 21 and it's the first thing in the would i have been a fan of, ask my friends, as kid my walls were without posters. I never liked anything, except being with friends, sports and nature. So finding kill tony, a form of media, and becoming a diehard fan, it just makes me sad how the show is now. Since 2019 when corona hit, the show never went back to it old self. Which is crazy, because it stayed SO true to it's roots, for 400 episodes in 7 years. No one else covers it, JokeWorld is just a yes-man, so no chance there, so i think it would be interesting for you, to take a deep dive into :) Thanks for your unique views and the guts for sharing them.
Some of your takes were bizarre... downplaying dana memorizing his bit isn't the flex u think it is.. let me see do a one take without cutting your videos.
EXACTLY!! This dude says so much dumb shit that I wonder how much he really knows about stand-up. He had the nerve to say "anyone could do it" too lolol
all do respect its a matter of perspective when it comes to this , i respect your opinion , but to call it cringe when it was how he felt is a bit much. what may seem one way to you , may be a huge deal to someone even dana white you can have the whole comedy industry writing for you but going out there Infront of millions is not easy and i respect that dana can still be humble enough to give credit were he believes credit is due , its important to not take someones humanity away from them cause there a big name , there still human it shows in moments like this
14:30 I'm curious where you got this info from? Tom and Bert had one of the worst sets of the night...but to say Tony and Nikki didn't come up with their own jokes is "wild".
duuuudee please check out redbar radio and see if his style gets you buzzing, he has a bit of an act going on and the sooner you realise this the more enjoyable palatable his show is ❤ he's been doing podcasts analysis for longer than anyone
I don’t see why they need to press Dana White and make the episode awkward and ruin the relationship with him to where he doesn’t come back on the show. You’re trying to criticize their podcast etiquette when they have a popular podcast and you don’t. They’re doing something right obviously.
