Happy Holidays Everyone! Thanks to my patreon members for helping me choose this one, it was a lot of fun to make. If you want to listen/download the song you can here: ninimusic.bandcamp.com/track/dance-of-the-sugar-plum-fairy
Nice Countdown Opening. Visually very exciting and cinematic. The setting felt like a western movie, then the music issued spy and romance. You looked tough, strong, in command, and the walkaway left me wondering where this adventure goes. Music is supposed to transport you somewhere else, you allowed a familiar tune to become new and fresh and breathe in a different way. I enjoyed it. 😊
Tchaikovsky is, without a doubt, my favorite composer - favorite among so many great ones. Almost exclusively, I love his ballet music. Surprisingly, though, The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy is perhaps one of my least favorite of all the pieces - I like the orchestration in some of the other pieces. Tchaikovsky's formal training in the conservatories of Moscow and St. Petersburg gave him an edge in this regard over the Mighty Five. His use of the celesta for the Sugar Plum Fairy, though, definitely lends itself to reinterpretation on the traditional instruments you use. So, once again, a piece of music that was lower on my list of favorites has now moved up on that list, simply because of your reinterpretation of it. Awesome!! 很好!謝謝妳!!
Well, Nini, you hit the Bullseye once again! And I'm not a big fan of Classical, or Christmas music but, I truly enjoyed your interpretation/take on it. I agree your instrument of choice for this piece truly makes it special. Thank you!!!! I subscribed and have followed your Career since the very first time I was lucky enuf to catch one of your uploads. I truly admire your Talent with such a wide variety of Traditional Instruments. I doff my hat to you! Kudos! And thank you so much for sharing your Talent to the World.
Once again, you have crafted an amazing video that blends multiple contrasting components. Your choice of background, song, instruments, and even your facial expressions all add up to a stupendous experience. Incredible video and cover of this classic piece. Adding this to my Christmas music list.
I love all these new bands with rock versions of trad and folk music, and I always love various versions of classics like Nutcracker Suite like this one!
Great performance! I'm sure, even Peter himself would have approved👍👏👏💛 Have you ever thought of transponing Edvard Grieg's - Peer Gynt Suite No.1 Op.46: IV. "In the hall of the mountain king" to your unique interpretations? Just a suggestion - I think the potential (and I'll admit a lot of work) would be there. In either side..💛💛
@@NiniMusic I agree haha I got recommended one of your videos last week and of course subscribed and then turned on that notification and of course they were late haha but I did listen a couple of times and 👏 👏🤘 👏
Es muy poderoso el respeto que tienes por tus tradiciones culturales y mostrarlas con tan cristalino sentimiento a través de la música y esos trajes tan espectaculares. " Todo lo que estás haciendo es bello " Mi respeto y admiración... patricio.
The Western motif was a nice touch I like it. Great performance of such a classic seasonal song. My baby sister danced to this performance when she was younger with the Denver Ballet Company. Her dream goal was to be the Sugar Plum Fairy. But her hips were damaged before she could fulfill that dream.
Since youtube randomly dropped one of your videos into my feed this morning, I have watched most of the videos in your channel, started following your Twitch, joined your Patreon and told as many of my friends as read my social media! I look forward to hearing more!
