I see you can add multiple chats. Do you find it easier to create multiple chats for talking about certain things or just using the post feature with organized hashtags?
Nice presentation - I don't know if this comment belongs here, but I dont' see another place for it. There is no tech support here? This teacher said it was so easy to add members to the BAND. Not so! I was trying to add members to my band with a link. the SMS option did not show up on my desktop. the moment I sent out links via email, the recipient reported they had already expired. A) BAND does not let you send email invites to gmail addresses through the app. Most of the US population has a gmail email address. B) I had to copy and paste all these addresses into my business email client only to have the link expire. What's up with that? So we fooled around with it a few times unsuccessfully and wrote this app off as too much trouble. Then I saw the the SMS invite was available on the phone app only. 🤔Having a little better luck. Looks great if you can get it to work!!
Hi there! You can grab an invite link and send it as a text from your phone number or from your email address. It sounds like you tried to invite using the "Invite Organization" feature vs sharing an invite link from your email. This feature is intended for organizations whose members all have their custom email domains(ex. schools, businesses), so members who use commercial domains such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc. will not receive an invite email. Since you tried the "Invite Organization" feature, your Band's membership requirement probably changed. To revert it back to allowing anyone who received an invite link to join, please go to your Band settings > Membership Requirement and turn OFF "Set Eligible Emails" before sharing your invite link with your members.
