Love Dennis Pavao's voice. Makes me think of the yodeling in the countryside of Germany where I am from. I love learning about other cultures to see how different they are and yet we are all the same. Mahalo.❤️

Aloha from Texas, Mahalo sharing wow, I dance hula many year and came cross your video, I remember so many hula to Hawaiian song, bring back so many memories. I also was a hula dancer back in 1980 for winder jammer cruise me & my cousin one of best time of life.

I just did part 1-3 and I like the way you teach. Just the right speed for me and you face me and go the direction you want me to go. I really like that. It's way easier than other tutorials where they face you and go to their right and you go to yours. It's too much to have to think about when you're trying to co-ordinate your whole body in a new way. It's much more fun to be successful quicker so your way is good. Plus you are lovely and your voice is pleasant. There seem to be just enough instructions and repetition. I'm older and out of shape and I love to hula so it's time for me to learn from you. Thank you. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

Aloha Lynn! First of all, I want to tell you that I LOVE your learning videos. You make it so easy and simple to learn the hula. I wanted to ask if you could do a series on how to hula to Maunaleo. I love this song...it always brings me back to the islands...my most favorite place to visit!!! Thank you so much for your consideration for my request.

@@iHulaHawaii so far, in the past 5 years, I've visited Oahu and Maui. I enjoy both islands but prefer Oahu. I hope to visit the big island (Hawaii) and Kauai someday.

Your welcome :) Yeees :) I gift the Moana hula to my friend, it was amazing !!! there were a lot of people and I was alone in front of them to dance, the dance was not completely the same as yours but i tried to do my best ! it was the fisrt time I danced for someone :) and i kept a wonderful memory.. That's why with all my heart i would like to thank you a lot ! what you do is really amazing and it helps me to realize my dream ! dance the Hula ! and share the dance with all my friends and family... To see their smile when they see you dancing is just beautiful ! i'll do my best to help you in sharing this with my firends ! Mahalo again :)

Yeah ! This is especially the reason why i like the Hula ! to see their faces and their smile, their eyes when they look at you, this is really special ! And i'm so happy that this kind of video exist on RU-vid ! You are the first RU-vidr who shares your knowledge, and how to dance the Hula step by step ! this is a treasure that we have ! and i'm more than happy to learn from you ! It's Dennis Pavao - I listed in below in the info. section. I love his falsetto voice. Check his library of songs out on iTunes. Did you get to learn the entire "I Kona?"

@@iHulaHawaii Oh how awesome! I fell in love with Weldon's voice when watching a Hula from the Merrie Monarch Festival many years ago. I didn't know who the artist was but i kept researching until i found him. Now i have several of his recordings and absolutely still love listening to him sing. He seems to have such a sweet and gentle spirit as well as kind heart.. To me, he.embodies the spirit of Aloha! Looking forward with excitement to the dance you create to honor this beautiful mele! Malama Pono Miss Lynn! *:D
