It is basically a fan made mv of their original story called city of evil (the characters here are from a sub-plot called memento mori) The characters here are called Siyun (black haired character) and Cain (brown haired character) and according to the original story, they are a demon (cain) and his contractor(siyun). The animation I made though is purely 100% my interpretation of their story, so it is not accurate to the original story. I was reading the novel right before seeing this, and thought it was an ORV animation at first. Was not disappointed though. The composition is so simple yet impactful. The animation in itself is pretty rough around the edges, but it makes the more carefully-made scenes hit harder. And the rougher parts were still well-done. For example the difference in quality between the bow and the eye opening after 1:28. The light was really good, the bow seemed a bit stiff, and the eye opening was really expressive. If your animation is this good, then your art must be fantastic! I really liked the symbolism you used. It’s so interesting to see both the subdued and eye-catching symbols of death. The crow at the beginning, the bow of a servant, and probably more. I love how you respond to and interact with most of the comments in the section. Keep up the great work! I can envision you doing even better in the future! I feel like I’m in a state where I just have so many things I want to say and praise you for, but that would be too much. I could probably rewatch this more than I have already done. I am in a state of awe. You’ve worked hard to create a gorgeous story, and I can only be mesmerised.
