THANK YOU. thank you. thank you. "Dance with my Father" was one of my mom's favourite songs and she'd always play it and cry every time, thinking of her parents who had passed away. She lost a 14-year long on and off battle with ovarian cancer 3 years ago when I was 23. Now I'm in the middle of planning my wedding and the painful reality that my mom won't be here to share in my joy and excitement has just hit me like a ton of bricks. She was supposed to do all the floral arrangements for my big day, as she used to be a florist. She even had some of her speech already thought out. I hope that she'll be watching over me and smiling down. Thank you, I needed this release.
