It’s Not Right doesn’t get the love it deserves. Yes, Darren has flawless vocals, but it’s the reactions of the rest of the ND that take the scene over the top. Every single one of them remains in character and you can tell EXACTLY what they’re thinking.
Ryan Murphy was so shady to the actress to who plays quinn her voice is waaay better than the actress who plays britanny yet she gets way more solos than quinn this season , n whenever quinn did get a solo it never suited her voice, but her doing 'take my breath away' with naya was one of the best female vocals (apart from some by leah n Amber) n they only play it on the show for like 30 seconds
Ryan Murphy is just shady in general. All I heard was that he played favorites in this TV series. I also heard that he would get pouty when fans started liking characters that he didn't want them to (such as Quinn). He just seems like one of those people that are egotistical, but also insecure.
But that is not the only character that I have heard this about. (Or even just this show.) I just mentioned that character because the OP did in their post. I believe I have seen the quote you are referencing, but this opinion about him is not based on that single quote. Certain characters begrudgingly got focus for a few episodes. Incredibly weak and/or boring plot lines would be dragged out for other characters (that he favored) during that season. I never watched this show until about 1.5-2 years ago (and never been in that fandom), but even I immediately noticed this odd writing of characters and that there were favorites that changed during the series. Those comments I later read just provided some context about the writer's behavior. I have also seen similar happen with authors and their characters. Though usually it is with a single character, not multiple ones like with Ryan Murphy.
Deffo egotistical lol n to other person I don't think its just made up by the fans...she was never in the show after season 3 and like I said she rarely got solos
I love the music of this episode, but it’s totally ruined by Sam’s speech with Joe. It is about one of the most ridiculous things they ever shoehorned into the show. I guess Sam is known for saying airheaded things, but really, “it was easier back then, girls didn’t wear miniskirts”…🙄🤦♀️ Yes, the Bible does unequivocally say to save sex for marriage. No, we can’t come to God on our own terms and make up what we think following him means. Premarital sex is not an unforgivable sin, but it is a sin. It’s complicated by the modern marriage industry, making people think you need to plan for a year and spend tens of thousands when at one point it was simply a matter of deciding for sure that the two of you were going to be together forever and make a family. The tattoo thing (and most other “smoking guns” people think they have found as counterpoints) are just people not knowing history, culture and context. Those tattoos were “marks for the dead” and constituted idolatry.
