Member Jieun actually left back In November. I noticed this in Sweet Juice as I remembered that PK debuted with 7 members not 6 like now. I wasn't even aware that she left until I did some search.

ty for reacting! sweet juice is such a great cb! love it, purki delivered as always sweet juice symbolizes freedom - "do u want sweet juice?= do u want to get free?" "yes" "run" there are a lot of references to different horror movies, esp shining - hotel, twins, rilas spelled backwards meaning salir - spanish word for get out I also rec checking out all their intros and dance practices for them cuz they are insane esp intro save me which is paired with sweet juice - both of them have a lot of floorwork and yes the girls had a lot of bruises and in some stages sadly they didn't even have any knee protection (also kinda a soul cry and release of frustration but pls notice ireh more, it kinda hurts that she's so underrated and a lot of the times goes unnoticed bcz they don't give her a lot of lines and shining moments tho it seems to get better with sweet juice release:( she's one of the main dancers along with dosie) also do u have any plans for checking out more onewe? it's been a long time since the last reaction haha

I've always thought the sweet juice was just blood, they talk about starving, being let out in the darkness, the madness within them and the "bite it, pop it pop it" followed by "dripping, dripping" bit, so I always just thought it was some type of vampiresque or ghoul related reference.

For me purple kiss is all about subverting expectations. A lot of their movements, in sweet juice especially, would be sensual or girl crush in most cases. But the fact that their songs are up-tempo and have darker elements means those movements start to look 'creepy.' An excellent example is in the Sweet Juice post-chorus, where the head tilts and leans /could/ be coy, but their speed makes them 'unnatural.' A close thing to describe it to would be a predator luring prey- trying to seem alluring, but disguising the true danger underneath. It's such a cool way to keep with the 'haunted doll' image they've had on and off since Pretty Psycho era! Absolutely fantastic! Edit: I know the thread is technically 'witches', but they were literally dolls in Pretty Psycho, and that imagery seems to have stuck with me lol
