Lay is in LA right now preparing for his concert and album. So last week I think, he met his idol Tight Eyez in LA and was personally taught the krump. You can bet Lay is so happy.
U$1.4mm was reportedly the budget for this MV. Zhang Yixing is Lay's Chinese name so ZHANGYIXING studio is his own studio. Rigend Film which was involved with Parasites was involved in this project as well.
I couldn't express how comfy i am watching you guys' commentary and reaction (even for other groups). Your knowledge about dancing and sharing it to us is really impacting on how i see choreography and dance move in a different perspective. You and your friends are really wholesome too. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope you guys have a great day and great year.
yixing spent $1.4M for LIT mv, filmed it at the largest film studios in the world which is hengdian, with over 100 extras. took part as a producer, director, actor & writer. he even participated in composing, arranging, writing the lyrics & choreographing. talk about all-rounder.
I LOVE seeing how excited you guys get over this because your reactions for this were my reactions when I saw it. From the krumping to the production of this video, to the lyrics, to the visuals... broooo
Lay explains more in these videos: - Making of video & Behind the scenes: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x_K39ntCEXw.html - Lay's reaction to reaction videos!: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-clEZ2bSi8lk.html - Even the packaging of the album is amazing: - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4HHIjevwCGs.html - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dtWO39BumOA.html I think Lay invested his own money into this video. He was inspired by Peking opera Farewell My Concubine and also the symbolism of the lotus flower (its ancient pronunciation sounds like 'lit').
don't know if you have seen or interest about that the video of Lay and the other three IDOL Leader cypher battle in "Street Dance of China" 3? 🤔 Here is the full version of the video. Cypher starts at 1:45:00 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y9HyjSwIKiM.html
If you want to see Lay krumping on stage, I recommend this live performance on Metamoon festival last year in New York. The final cypher is crazy! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-di2V6efnXZQ.html
Please react to the dance practice for 'Birthday" by TEN. He's an incredible dancer...my favorite. I think you'll be amazed. I just subscribed. Love your videos.
Once again love the video! Maybe you can re-react to NCT 127 Simon says, because that was a quick reaction? And Lay is Chinese and a former member of EXO!
In the MV when he says “I AM LIT” … He’s saying he is the LOTUS; which I regrettably don’t remember the full meaning but im sure someone will fill you in about it.
the lotus flowers are beautiful and have meaning of pureness and virtue but they actually grow in the mud. They are rooted in the mud but have a long and firm stud (honesty) and the beautiful white flowers float on top of the muddy waters. It is a flower also linked to Buddhism

Streen Man Fighter just concluded. Would appreciate your thoughts on why the judges chose this battler against the other. Looking forward to seeing that.
JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THIS IS UNDER THE GENRE C-POP aka CHINESE POP, NOT K-POP OR IN THIS CASE MIXED-POP BY LAY ZHANG WHICH IS NOT THE SAME AS LOCAL M-POP (MANDARIN POP/M-POP).
Please react to NCT 127 : 2 baddies dance practice. And NCT Dream : Go, Hello Future, We Go Up, My First and Last, Chewing Gum with Hoverboard. Thank u.
Quick pause cause when you talked about mvs that are movies, I 👀 went through your channel and you haven't reacted to Jackson Wang!! His mvs are right that alley, they're amazing, and he is super involved in the production, direction and choreography. Totally a must watch!! He's from Hong Kong and member of GOT7 (3rd gen kpop).
We appreciate Lay for what he is, what he did, what he does and what he will do in the future. When you have a pearl to watch and appreciate for me, you have to make the most out of it. Yixing truely is amazing and surprising every time. We love him and he will forever do!
