The local hobby shop just received 2 of these. I'm thinking about picking one up just because they look like fun in all the vids I've watched. Not like I don't own enough crawlers. Lol. Capra, gen 2 and 3 trx4's included the 2021 bronco, But straight out of the box at a ridiculously low price? ... it just looks like a blast. And that's what this hobby is all about, in my eyes. Really looking forward to the completed budget build. So far looks like you will need upgraded tires...upgraded servos...new motors or 3s pack? And some added low weight. Can't wait to see what you come up with! Great job.

If it had that weight in the front end it would go up the hopper no problem, I think. you just don't have enough front weight bias to throw it forward when you hop it

You need to put a 3s lipo in the ridge rock. The electronics will take it like a champ and it will give you the extra power you need on spots like hopper.

Omg the buzz from Optimus is so loud in the video!! Well its extremely high pitched!! I guess you get that when you build a freaking monster of a crawler!! Is it the revolver motor?? The danchee *(DanCheedle)* did pretty good for what it is tho!! But yea!! Awesome video as always brother!! Cant wait for the next one!! Maybe one day we can meet up when I'm in Florida visiting family.. And we can bash XMAXX'S!!! Until next time my brother!!

Yeah. That’s the BRXL esc PWM you’re hearing. It’s a brushed motor in there.

I wanna see more of the Danchee @exocaged RC ! Add a bunch of cheap sticky weights to the front and larger wheels/tires, maybe the largest 1.9s you can OR the smallest 2.2s you can... (like Pitbull Braven Berserkers or old-school Losi Rock Claws or some Panthers)

Swapping the electronics/battery location dramatically changed the COG. Stock body has some heavy roll cage pieces. (BTW you cut the body down almost identical to my original cuts :D)

In the danchee Could you run over drive (or underdrive) by running a lower or higher turn motor in either front or rear? Not sure if they have many options for that can size in the danchee though... just food for thought

You should make a plate that secures to the upper link and mount the battery to it like the OG SCX10 guys used to do.

some cheap stick on weights might help the danchee with some more front weight for the hopper. i think i got mine from a tire shop for 5 bucks for 1.5 lbs.
